This car brings back memories......my brother had an early Comet Caliente with a hot 289 and pipes that sounded a lot like this. I was always amazed how much power came from that little watch-winder motor. The sound was intoxicating! Good job by the fella you've got covering for you....he asks good questions.
Very nice car. Brings back great memories. of watching Jerry Titus race the #17 Terlingua Mustang at Green Vally Raceway in Texas on April 1967. Dan Gurney won in Cougar, Parnelli Jones second in Cougar and Titus fifth coming for last place.

Beautiful car. I love seeing the vintage mustangs on track. I see he didn't lower the seating position because your helmet is up against the roll bar. I cut out the seat mounts on my 67 and lowered them. The driving position is pretty terrible on these cars till you modify it. Also, Kyle did a great job!

From a second generation Camaro owner that is one sweet mustang. Maier racing has a sweet 65 set up for the track. It has a must see rear suspension on it
I have: 68 boss 302 and top-loader trans from a 66 a sedan race car. A mid 2000 era ASA NASCAR chassis. One 67 mustang rusted floors but good outer upper body shell. In process of putting it all together now.
Driver not pushing this car too hard. Nice car but would like to see it run on 100% mode. Watch a Bill Sheppard racing video for a real fast 427 A/P ‘67 Mustang on a road course. You’ll enjoy it.
