Hi Dave and thanks for a great video! I'm getting ready to pull the windows out of the '69 Charger, so this comes at a perfect time. Really enjoyed meeting you at Carlisle and appreciate the time that you spent with us sharing your knowledge. You do great work.
Hey Dave....I've been a fan of yours from the days at GYC, when I first saw you, to now on your own channel. I always liked your mild manner and personal touches on the explanations in the how-to departments; then and now. I watched the quarter glass removal and install for the help I needed on my 70 Bee. Now, my door glass has been out for 20 years and I have no chance of remembering how to install it! Can you please do a step by step on the install of the frame and glass assembly? That would be most helpful. If you aren't ready to put yours in, I can wait! Thanks a bunch. P.S.--- I wish you had more videos!
Great videos. Very helpful. I need to inventory the hardware for inside the doors to reassemble. Can you do another video on the door lock rods and hardware to open the doors. With the inside and outside handles to make the circle complete of your documentation. These are very helpful!
Thanks for this video, Dave. I am also working on a 69 Road Runner and have to remove the glass from both doors as well as the quarter glass in the back seat area. Any chance of doing a video on that process? Love these how-tos. I have a list of topics if you need ideas for future vid's on this car. I will be checking back regularly to see what you've posted.
My drivers window is stuck in the closed-up position & can’t be rolled down. Any idea what that could possible be? Does the regulator just need lubrication? Thanks
Yes it can be removed..separate the very top of the wing window frame...a hidden screw in the window channel...I used a small wrench wedged between the frames to keep separated and this will allow the glass to come out the top...also loosen the rear track
