???? The very first time I heard a Rosa mandolin, that tone told me who ever made it was a special luthier. Seeing many hundreds of your videos on all topics , you are legenday !! Thank you !!! So much for being you . Even though its not easy being you .
Great video many thumbs up. I think it is super nice of you to set this fiddle up for Grace. Whoever she is I truly hope she will enjoy it and learn to play very well with it. God bless everyone involved with this project including Grace and you Jerry. Btw, Jerry, I knew you would improve this fiddle from day one. You are that nice of a man, lol.
That fiddle sounds very sweet now Jerry. Real sorry about your hands Jerry. Beginning to have similar issues with mine. Now I know why my pal kept telling me to not use my hands as a hammer/mallet. But we will do what we can.
You know Jerry the fiddle is a beautiful box but marred by them thar dog-danged ´fine tuners´, l´m-a surprised at you Jerry you not being a proponent of them thar Planetary Pegs, you being an American, you know "space-age" and all that, messing about with them thar durned wooden fiddle pegs that never ever want to tune the string at the correct pitch, always -5 below or +13 above A440 lol, Jerry git with the times boy, shame on you and l always thought you were so clever and technical.
I personally prefer Wittner Finetune pegs, they are a lot cheaper than the Planetary pegs. Slightly different installation on my violin but very easy for me to tune and hold in tune beautifully. (I'm 59 female, beginner and had all sorts of problems when I was using regular friction pegs. ) 😃😃
@@nancymilawski1048 Yes whatever works is fine "Planetary pegs" just a name for these things. Good luck with yer fiddlin´ Nancy. A tip get yourself a dictaphone and always record yourself when fiddling.
