Yes, dropping the paint pot onto the canvas really pulled the colors up and created an interesting design, giving it a good focal point. Pretty and relaxing, thanks!

I must tell you about a marvellous set of miniature silicone spatulas I found at my local supermarket, they are fantastic for getting every smidgen of paint out of your containers, really no mess no fuss. Great for saving paint

I yelled just as loud as you did when it spilled....surprised at the colors...thought you would report the white and add more color. Good to see you beck.....was just going to go to bed early...final chemo wore me out. But rather watch you on the big flat screen...you are life size...does look like wings..nice picture..going to get some extra.rest..from Tennessee

Is it possible to use a barbecue lighter rather than a butane torch? Will it also pop bubbles? Is it too dangerous to use if you hover over at a respectable distance? I am scared of torches, but barbecue lighters are ok. Asking you because you are such a good painter, thanks

Thanks for asking. I have used one in the past and it sort of worked. The torch has a pressure to it the creates air movement as well as heat. If you were to blow across the painting to pop the bubbles and use the bbq lighter for raising the cells that could work.

I did the same on a painting, turned out to be a favorite after I added a few flourishes. Looked like paper being folded back revealing a cross. Hope you're well, Michelle. It's been a while. I just wanted to pop in and thank you for all your knowledge and the laughs! Know you're in New Zealand, but please have a symbolic "White Wine in the Sun" for me on Christmas.
