What is the thickness of the 4c reaction ring gear thrust washer? I see they are selective and wondering which is a good oem replacement

They range from .086-.145 in .006 increments. End play is .010-.020. If you have not replaced any hard parts then the end play should not have changed. If yours is broken just get you one that is the same thickness and it should be right.

that transmission should have never been used in the diesels.. just being a 545RFE on steroids. so what was the problem.. overdrive slipping.? or just overheating..? you sure get a lot of Dodge RFE's they can be a good transmission they can be problematic as well.. but at least they are an easy one to rebuild.. are the solenoid assembly really that bad ?.. I have never had a problem in 500,000 plus miles on RFE's

O/D burnt to a crisp. Solenoid assemblies especially the black connector are horrible, grey's not as bad. See a ton of them.

@@CurmudgeonTransmission camera looks much more clear and better color. changes the whole atmosphere of the video... you can see parts better for sure...
