Now this what I love metal work it so much fun for me if the 1/4 panel you have don't have that extra metal that gose behind the bottom of the tail panel you are going to lose the body line which is not cool for these old firebirds if you need anything just give me a call brother I'm so happy seeing you back in the garage and working on the bird long live PONTIAC
All ready look at that luis there's enough to go over the tail panel. Mite try a flangeing tool on it. If not that body line mite just go away. I would rather a good solid repair and no rust if it means omitting the body line.
