@@Testasspeedshop9997 Its moving slow. I'm still working on the back end of the car. Wheel housings took a long time but are now welded in. The Tail panel is on. Now working on the deck filler panel and quarters for final fitment. I must have taking the quarters on and off a 1000 time lol but hopefully in the next week or two I can weld them in.
Yeah it's slow doing that stuff check and then check again. Tom's in the process of doing his also. Has both quarters on its getting time to putty it up.
So do I the funny part is they were on there for about a week and nobody bought them. I'm disappointed in the comps, though. Ever since I put them on they never seemed right.
@@Testasspeedshop9997 There's a lot of folks that haven't caught on yet that the old parts are better and only things available will be made overseas. Now is the time to buy as much as you can find, been hoarding stuff for the last few years. I think it's a better investment than my 401K.
Yes very interesting. One of the reasons why I used them again is because I had such good luck with them on the 396. Just goes to show ya nothing like it used to be.
Very Cool! It does look good with the scoop black. If you don't want to stripe the rest of the car to match, maybe just make the scoop a slightly darker shade of the body color?
I would keep some kind of black decal/stripe on the scoop area and add a stripe in the rear to give it balance. That car would look good no matter what you do!
Hello, brother. You absolutely deserve that power steering set up. You work really hard you made that Firebird. run. And look really good. You are one of my Firebird brothers, so keep the bird flying
Dave it steers nice still hard but much better. Yea I think I need to invest in a new camera. That's 80.00 chinese gopro that's about 5 years old LOL. It takes nice video but the mic is not great on it.
It looks like a lot less turns and a nice improvement! From my couch its looks like your guy did a nice job with the alignment! Enjoy the new steering box.
Skip its not that bad with the closer ratio as long as your moving a little. It's not power steering but it's better than the old slow box. And yes you have to put some muscle in to turning it LOL.
It was very nice to see you that day. Your car looks great and it was nice to see the first gen firebird lineup. We will have to do another lineup next year when I get my 69 400 convertible back on the road.
