I made soooooo many hoses like those when I was in the fork lift repair phase of my life. But that was 47 years ago , the materials today look well improved , mine was just industrial standard made in the U.S.A.
Allied Electronics should be another source for those pins. I would shop around for the best price. Car is looking great! Cant wait to hear it whistle!
Those are Weatherpack connectors. If you have a decent Deere dealer nearby they should have those pins. I wouldn't shorten anything until you see how it runs first. You may need to make changes. Maybe you could find a 90deg thermostat top? That would give you a lot more room.
They are called "weather pack connectors." They sell kits that have everything you need including a terminal crimping tool. You can get them practically anywhere online. From Amazon to summit.
I would mill down the larger carb hat enough for clearance. BTW - is the plenum fully divided in your intake manifold? TBI injectors don't like that and you usually have to cut the divider down or run a 1" spacer under the throttle body. Great build, keep it going man!
So that fuel pump and line is 1/2" . Also how has the pump been working for you so far ? I run mechanical but since their being built so cheap i was thinking of switching over to electric pump. What did the pump cost ya and whats the brand ? Thanks
@@TheGasTap I'm from texas I'm more of a whataburger and Dr.Pepper kind of guy. And u know what they say about texas...............................................................................everything is bigger and faster lol
The Gas Tap in your opinion should I stick with my 42rh (a500) or revert back to a 727. Thing is I’d have to have another drive shaft made if I go back to a 727.
Didn't really give a good look and it's really hard to judge sizes on camera, but those look like Metri-pack 280 series connectors on the temp sensor. Not sure what the first one was. You'll need a crimp tool for the pins too. www.amazon.com/Crimp-Supply-Metri-Pack-Kit/dp/B00NVBEYQQ www.ttiinc.com/content/ttiinc/en/apps/part-search.html?searchTerms=metri-pack&systemsCatalog=&x=true
