This is insane. I've watched her grow up. I feel like a cyber aunt at this point. I'm so happy for you Amaya. I hope your college years are filled with growth, discovery, self-assurance, and prosperity!
Amaya is way prettier tho, Alena (her mom) doesn't take care of herself and acts like a man. Amayah is way different from her mom personality wise and is beautiful.
Trust me sis, I had C's during my first semester and It crushed me because I was not used to such "bad" grades. I realized it was just me adjusting to my new lifestyle as a young adult on her own. Once I adjusted to freshman life my grades got better and better. You're going to be just fine! Stick to what you know, tweak what doesn't work anymore, and keep your head on your shoulders 🩷 우리 동생이~ 화이팅!
I did not have my life together like this at 18 😂, good for you baby girl!! I hope your family is proud of you, you deserve to know how great you’re doing 💕
Time flies... so enjoy college and do as much as you can. Stay on top of your grades and you will succeed to be whatever you desire to be. You got this! Next phase in life, bills bills bills.
2023, So many young people today in society have things handed to them on a silver platter, and they do not utilize the gifts that are passed on to them. But look at you! I am so, so, proud of you keep-up the good work.
I work in higher education and of course I was a freshman many moons ago LOL Please be kind to yourself. The first semester and sometimes the first year of college is a big adjustment for all students. You are not alone. Utilize all your resources on campus including your professors in order to get a handle on course material but also create a positive and healthy social circle. Students who are active or campus leaders on college campuses tend to be really well. I know you will excel.
I’m a freshman in college as well and I understand what you’re going through because I have C’s in my first semester too. This first semester gave me a wake up call and next semester I definitely will do better 💯
I love when people put God as the center of their life, because in God, you live and have ur been I can relate when you said you don’t listen to your mama she said to exercise I have a 18-year-old and trust me. I understand it’s for us as mothers to just keep encouraging encouraging don’t push just keep on encouraging young people.❤❤ your editing skills. Amaya is off the chain love love love it. 🫶🏾💯🥰
You are the spitting image of your mom only younger. I will be watching you so please keep it up. I love your exercise and devotional time. You will go far in life just do your best and God will do the rest. I could be your great grandmother but was watching your moms video for ever. I wish young ladies would sit and watch you because they can learn the positive side of life. Blessings.
I know it was a shock to your brain cells but don’t let it get you down. You will rise above that C. Bravo on your videos because they are informative and entertaining. ❤❤blessings and prayers for you.

Amyah we are all so super proud of you. I feel like a "social media auntie" we're watching out for you and we're rooting for you, so beautiful keep doing what you're doing baby. ❤️🌹❤️
In French they say:”The world belongs to those who wake up early”👏👏👏Bravooooo for your early routine Amyah 💖Your family must be happy that they taught you very well. Keep it up 🙏🙏🙏
Train up a child in the way they should go and they will never depart from it. I love how mature and independent you are. I hope your journey at university is beyond your liking. Ma and Pa definitely did a great job with you Amyah! ❤
Great passages- Philippians 4:11-12- "I am telling you these things, but it is not because I need something. I have learned to be satisfied with the things I have and with everything that happens. 12. I know how to live when I am poor. And I know how to live when I have plenty. I have learned the secret of being happy at any time in everything that happens. I have learned to be happy when I have enough to eat and when I don't have enough to eat. I have learned to be happy when I have all the things I need and when I don t have the things I need. I can do all things through Christ, because he gives me strength." (Easy to Read Version)❤
I'm also a UC Berkeley alumni and polyglot. It's crazy to be reliving some of my college experience through your vlogs. Life at Cal can get pretty stressful, and the grading system is notoriously frustrating (GPA deflation and what not). Feel free to hmu if you ever have any questions about what life after graduating Cal is like! (5 years to be exact). I remember my peers and I cared about all the wrong things that really didn't matter after we graduated LOL. It made me think -- why did we stress about all those things in the first place? The unnecessary stress tainted some of our good memories of university. I hope you get to study abroad in China or SK! There's scholarships and financial aid available too. I did the Taiwan summer study abroad program through Cal, and an all-expense-paid Japan summer internship program for university students (by an organization not related to Cal). One of my majors was Asian Studies with a concentration in China that's since been retired and updated to Global Studies under Letters and Science. (I double-majored)
Hey Amaya, internet auntie here. Loving seeing your college journey and sharing. Keep up the good work, those C’s will soon turn into A’s smart young lady.
She is the cutest thing😊. She is going to do well, mom and dad has prepared her to be well rounded and grounded. Amyah this was an awesome and fun video to watch and well enjoyed. Keep them coming.
Wow Amyah your mums and Appa's teachings sure paid off. Skincare, laundry, etc great to see. So happy for you and I wish you all the best for the rest of the year forward. Have a safe Christmas and it wont be long before you be home with all your Siblings. They miss you so much. Said with Love from Rotorua, New Zealand...
Amyah, I am so proud of you. You are taking college seriously. Good for you. Not all but some 1st. year students do not always do this. Good luck. And may God/Yah bless you.🎉💐💪🏾🙏🏽
Love that you're using sun screen. Not enough black folks know that we, too, should be using it. Although our skin protects us more than fairer skinned people, we're not immune to sun damage and skin cancer. I also love that you don't shave. While I personally do shave, I fully support any woman who chooses not to and I find it beautiful.
Amyah Maze, Grandma loves you. Praying for you daily. Stay safe and encouraged and prayed up. God got you. Just love the whole family. Take care and GODS CONTINUED BLESSINGS TO YOU. 💌🙏🏽🙏🏽
Hello Dear! I have been a TRUE genuine Fan of your Family since the beginning! We have all watched your journey of pursuit to College and are so very PROUD of you! I also want to say that because I GENUINELY love and care for you enough to say to you that, as a young Lady, is that someone should have made mention of the fact that you should Shave under your arms & shave your legs, dear. It has also crossed my mind that since you are interested in a different culture some do not require shaving & maybe that's the REASON BEING ???? Like I said already I care about you sooooo much knowing that certain people can be CRUEL! If I didn't care I wouldn't have said ANYTHING at all! Keep up your amazing mission! GBY
I've watched you grow into an amazing young woman. Stay grounded in Christ as this will grant you wisdom beyond your years in the Earth. Today's generation need to see the rare gem you are. Lead the way, Amayah and much success to you now and the years ahead. You go girl!
Amyah, you are the sweetest young lady 🙏🏽it's your first semester and it appears you have your big spacious dorm all to yourself??? Whaaaat??? That is AWESOME!! 😊
