Honestly that feels more real than anything, it would make the whole thing feel like a nightmare when one scary moment wakes you up

I think it's the delayed reaction that makes this 10x funnier to me, 'cause he screams and makes a remark while covering his face, and he doesn't realize that he actually completed the night until he registers the sound and opens his eyes.

According to other commenters on other videos, you don't actually die until the jumpscare animations end, and the 6pm animation gets priority when they conflict so Jack was literally saved by the bell...or alarm. Long story short, task failed successfully!
