The thing about that is in the video he says "I'm happier than when I beat Vanish" If your remember his struggle with that game, you know that FNAF 4/20 was TOUGH.
honestly, i think that's part of what made it feel so legendary for me, all those years ago when i first watched it. the dead silence right before the bell really elevated it
0:51 Just hearing that scream of constipated fear and rage through gritted teeth just shows how unsure he is if he can win, and then as if all hope is lost for Mark, the chimes of victory sound as Mark celebrates his greatest achievement.
If I remember correctly, the 4th night of Sister Location had to be changed because it was too hard. I believe Mark was one of the few people able to beat it before the change, and was name-dropped by Scott as one of the only people to have done it. Mark really shows off his skills throughout his playthroughs of these games!
I know that the spring segment was originally not meant to be as hard as it was and it was changed cause by the end of it you had only milliseconds to spare before one of the springs unwound. But Mark beat the original
@@TheCoolNintendoGuy8593 compared to how much there actually is in just our own universe we only know a small fraction of what there is to discover yet
@@PerfectAzrael he's not gonna come back to dark deception. I think he actually has a different reason for not playing the game other than the difficulty
I can just imagine Mark getting fired in real life and reacting like that as he walks away from his boss and the boss is just like: “What the hell just happened?.?.?”
Honestly 10/20 on FNAF 2 is a lot more time consuming and requires a bunch more luck than beating 50/20. It's just that 50/20 is learny, unlike FNAF 2 10/20 which is very simple; you'll be suprised if you have the motivation to learn 50/20
You ain’t lying! I’ve nearly broke my phone *MANY* times (I play the mobile ports of the FNAF games on an iPhone) throwing it in both frustration at a near miss and elation at a last second victory
I would kill to go back in time to 2014 right after Mark beat 20/20 mode and give him a copy of Ultimate Custom Night just to watch his joy turn to a cardiac arrest from realizing he has to deal with fifty more animatronics that make the first mode look like a cakewalk
It's crazy to think and realize that every time a new original FNAF game came out, Markiplier was always in the top 10 to beat the hardest challenge in that game.
When someone asks me who is the one who deserves to be called The King of Five Nights at Freddy's, I think of only two guys: Dawko and Markiplier. But... I would say Markiplier for some reason.
I love how as time goes on, he seems less and less happy about winning. Like, he’s just so tired of these games that he has no energy left to feel joy.
Have you ever seen Mark's reaction in this one rage inducing happy wheels map in the end of his happy wheels #79 video? My god that scream in that is legendary lol
@@JustAnotherNamelessGuywouldn't even bother staying in the damn building until 1 AM I'd literally walk out the building while the animatronics are fully active
The fact that Mark was one of the first fee to beat all of the original hardest modes is crazy. King of FNAF for real. Top 2 for 1 and 3. Top 3 for 2. Top 10 for 4, and Top 4 for SL.
Allegedly, someone could've beat it, but didn't record themselves beating it. That's why those "victors" standings are hilarious, no one knows who was the first to beat the hardest modes in each game.
@@motodog242 Actually, the first person to beat 20/20/20/20 mode in FNAF 1 is known, since he recorded it, he was the one that inspired Mark to even try, and Scott added the third star in the game in the honor of the first guy to beat it [even he didn't think it was possible]. Of course there could've been someone else who did unofficially, but for the first game? I highly doubt it.
@@kellenfox587 do you not know the lore? He would still be fired for tampering with animatronics. The odor detail is there to indicate the dead bodies. Mind you, we didn't know this whenever FNAF 2 came out.
Fun fact actually, markiplier was apparently the first player to EVER complete 20/20/20/20 before an update that made it so the animatronics had a specific rhythm they followed, however before the update (the version mark was playing) had the animatronics wonder freely without any sort of mechanism really attached to them. Bro is literally the King Of FNAF
bro what are you talking about, the animatronics have always behaved in the exact same way since the game came out via consistent movement opportunities, and this is true for every clickteam fnaf game. why would scott have changed that 💀
I mightve believed that for the ports but i don't see Scott retroactively cahning those PC games much later. The strats back then for fnaf 1 just weren't as optimized as the current ones.
It’s a shame he didn’t do Blind All Nightmare Nightmare Mode, that one’s the hardest! The only ones I haven’t done yet are FNAF 6 (I don’t expect to be hard), 50/20 (apparently not as hard as Golden Freddy mode as you get used to it), Corn Maze (not a 20 mode, so shouldn’t be too bad), and whatever one for Security Breach (split opinions on which part’s the hardest). The only one I missed that I think would actually matter is 50/20 mode.
@@tirididjdjwieidiw1138 Fair point. There’s still RNG in it tho that could just screw you. So I feel it might be harder than 10/20 mode in Sister Location, but easier than 50/20 mode, Golden Freddy mode, and Blind All Nightmare Nightmare mode.
@@Sean-qg3gg that is certainly true. the keys spawn in a few spots randomly every time, but it's relatively consistent. To get your bearings, i suggest using some of the land marks like the windmill and the water tower. (Windmill is at the red gate and Watertower is at the orange gate) there are basically 4 areas where different keys spawn. red gate = orange key blue gate = green key green gate = blue key orange gate = red gate The glitch/purple key is where it gets way harder. It spawns at any of the locations. The way to know where it might be is whenever you collect the 4th key a church bell goes off. Just go in the direction of where the noise originated. i'd also recommend staying close to hiding spots at all times and lure foxy into charging at you (it will make him teleport somewhere else in the vicinity) Pray to the RNG gods and you'll win.
the hardest part about security breach would be doing a glitchless/bugless run lmao also if i remember correctly he didnt do nightmare all nightmare because Nightmare on its own mode had a method to the things he did, meanwhile Nightmarionne seemed entirely random so he didnt even tried that much (could be wrong and it actually has a method to it but he experimented with it with the map cheat on just to try to understand it and it just seemed like a mess)
He had considered doing it, but he thought that “cam stalling” the “plushie animatronics” was a glitch So, he did 50/5 Unfortunately, he never knew that beating it in the way he was thinking, was possible (I’ve seen some do it)
@𝕹𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙𝖘'𝖘 3𝕯𝕲𝕰 to be fair that’s with the knowledge we have now of i’m pretty sure 50/20 has just a lot of cheese that hadn’t been figured out yet at the time he was playing
The surprising thing is that 4/20 is NOT HARD if you know how the game actually works and almost IMPOSSIBLE with how Mark played it. With how powerful CAM 4B is, 4/20 is actually easier than night 5 for example, because there's no way for animatronics to stay at your door for too long, and you always have full control over Chica, Foxy and Freddy Yet you couldn't know any of that back then, and that makes Mark's achievement even more insane. Same goes with Night 4 and 5 in Sister Location
I downloaded FNAF 1 on my PS4 and did a full run through the game with no deaths and beat 20/20/20/20. I had to purposefully die to get the jumpscare achievement
the amount of time it took freddy to get to the door was so damn lucky, and then the music box was also quite a long period of time aswell, although much closer to the average time it was still higher than average by a small bit.
Actually impressive mark was the SECOND VICTOR for 4/20 in the first fnaf game, for such a big and varied content creator being that good at a game is impressive In general he's always one of the first to do it!
Gosh, the memories. You know how they say you never forget where you were when something important happened? I can remember exactly where I was when I watched every one of Mark's FNAF series 😁
After beating the first one it opened the floodgates. Once he knew he did it before nothing would stop him until he beat the rest even if FNAF 2 took him 9 hours instead of 7 on the first game 🤣
Btw challenges should count for hardest mode on FNAF 4, since they do on FNAF 3, so it'd be BM MF IF Nightmare mode (Night 8 aka 4/20 is free in comparison)
I love how in the first two games, one of the reasons you get fired is "odor" Now this is up to interpretation but I think this is the game telling you to stop, and take a shower.

And people forget why he is and always will be the King of Five Nights at Freddy's with so many other RU-vidrs besting challenges that Mark failed or refused to do. Scott Cawthon even referred to him as the King. It is more than being skilled at the games. Mark massively helped in creating the legacy this game series is now known for.
That’s sick! Congrats! I’m way too scared to play any of the games. Like I tried the first night of fnaf 4 at a friend’s house and chickened out within 5 seconds of starting. The audio freaked me out too much lol
