This scale model, built by Denis Evans over 50 years ago has just had a heavy general overhaul, including a new copper boiler, completed by John Holroyd of The Steam Workshop.
John has added considerable detail to the model without damaging the originality of Denis's work. The video was taken over two days, during which time several small problems were overcome, producing a very powerful & reliable loco.
Loco engineers will know that when John turns & says she was hauling us at 3% cutoff, the loco was working at its highest efficiency.
