I don't understand why this show had a decline in ratings during the later seasons. Honestly, that's when the show was THE BEST to me. Of course the earlier seasons are a classic but the chemistry amongst the cast was golden during the college era 😂😂
Well Corey was relatable in earlier seasons as a kid. Quite frankly, the older he got, the crazier he became. How many people really stay in touch with their highschool boy/girlfriends let alone marry them straight out of highschool? He became quite unrelatable so the viewers lost interest.
I love how the usually serious and dignified Mr. Feeny is actually taking Shawn and Cory's side here. And laughing with them. Rather than punishing them for putting a car in her room. lol
"There's a car in your room lady!" I damn near died choking on my drink. Everything from that point is just pure gold, especially Feeny being so damned impressed he can't even fake being mad, and can only joy in.
Angela-Calm Down Rachel-Angela, there is a car in the dorm room! Angela-Rachel, calm ... Rachel-Angela, there is a car in the dorm room! Angela-Rachel, don't overreact. Rachel-Overreact?! ANGELA, THERE IS A CAR IN THE DORM ROOM! Topanga-Well at least we know where it is.
Rachel started it. She took her frustrations out on Cory and Shawn, which she shouldn't have done. She didn't have to be nasty when she asked Shawn to move his car from her space, it's just a parking space for crying out loud. She abused her power and overstepped her authority.
@@samkeller5823 Pushing her. She was being a jerk. He did not know it was her space. She could have asked to to move in a nicer way, but she threatened him instead. I would not have moved after that either.
@@samkeller5823 it’s Rachel’s fault that her car was put into her room she was warned not to mess with Cory and Shawn she doesn’t know them like Topanga does
They explained it in a mini documentary here’s the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VmkbAwk0oy8.html the third bestfriend of Corrie got fired so Shawn took all his lines in 3 episodes that’s why he had a sister
FacebookQueen One is because she's the outsider of the group. Two, I guess it's because they don't know her well enough like they know the others, so they want to make something fun out of her. Three, she also doesn't know them well either. All she think there was two immature boys pulling some pranks on her cause they think it's fun, so she wants to get back at them, but what she doesn't know is that she can never mess with Cory and Shawn with this kind of thing. Four, because they don't know her, she just somehow became their target.
FacebookQueen i thought this would happen to Jack but when he appeared he was on the show for the rest of the series and he's very likable guy and he fitted right in
@@ilikeeggs5590 again, she was clearly having a bad day, and they were egging her on. They were being sh*tty. Saying that she was "taking it too seriously" is gaslighting.
Why did the writers feel the need for Rachel and Jack? Out of the two Jack was more likeable but why did we need either of those characters? They could have spent more time developing Angela's character and her friendship with both Topanga and Cory. I really love their friendship and I felt like enough time wasn't given to that.
Because originally all of the Pennbroke stuff was circling around Eric when Cory, Shawn, and Angela were all still in High School. Rachel and Jack were part of Eric's seperate storyline and then when the other three went to college, I guess they wanted to do something with the characters instead of writing them out. But you're right, they should have done more with Angela/Topanga/Cory.
I liked Rachel and Jack The addition of their characters was pretty interesting, especially to see their dynamic with the other characters. That trio between Eric, Shawn and Jack made for a pretty good trio
Well I’m really happy for jacket and I’m really having a para Rachel in it I mean newsflash they didn’t have Angelina at one time to buy says they were also good characters
TBH this fight was all Rachel's fault. She was petty, and went on a major power trip. Plus, I know damn well that if someone assembled a whole ass car in my bedroom, I would have woken up. So you get what you get 🤣
NeverMindMyName Exactly. She was taking all these things too seriously. It was supposed to be a prank, and what fun could it get if she's taking it too seriously. Also, that poster of hers was pretty tamed. And Topanga had warned her that she shouldn't mess with Cory and Shawn when it comes to pranks and scams.
Lil' Ms. PIXIELICIOUS sorry for responding to this 4 months later but I personally hate her because of when her, Topanga, and Angela take over the room when it belonged to jack like that’s not your room to just barge in and take
I’m on Shawn and corys side, Rachael was taking it to seriously, Shawn said he didn’t know it was her parking spot, it’s not his fault. Rachael even tried to kill them, LITERALLY. She glued topanga, Shawn and Cory to their seats, pored honey on them and sent a bear into the room. THATS maniac
The bear had to be fake bc im sure he wouldve ran off bc he is in human territory i mean come on its a sitcom dogs would be on tv but bears wouldnt be that close up if it was real
I was always a bit on the fence about rachel, but this was the episode that convinced me of my dislike for her. She was a total shrew, which only made the people around her not want to side with her (example: mr feeny). Also Shawn had put the car in her spot by accident but she still demanded he move it very rudely. If anyone had told me to do something with the tone she used on Shawn, I would also pretty much tell them to take a hike! Lastly, you can't accuse people of being immature if you also engage in a prank war and play a hand in escalating the situation. And then play the victim when things go too far. I wish someone had called her out at the end on any of this.
@@drethethinker6418 She started it with her bitching over a parking space. She could have let it go and politely asked them to move it. Instead she threw a fit and escalated things.
Rachel took her frustrations out on Cory and Shawn, that was wrong. She should have asked him politely to remove his car from her space. She was warned not to mess with Cory and Shawn. She doesn't know them They way Topanga does.
You know, I can relate to Rachel during her "this group doesn't accept or respect me" moments. I have reason to believe my ASD makes me a misfit and a freak to others. A coworker seems to like everyone else except me: fun, playful sarcasm and joking, pleasant conversation, sneaking up on someone who likes horror movies. When she talks to me, though, she's pretty serious. When she drove me and another coworker to a place we were serving, they chatted; when it was just us two later, she didn't talk to me. Now, I can't remember what I said the first few days we met, but perhaps it was the time I mentioned masks to a new high school worker. Asked him if they had to wear them in school. I told him how they ironically make my nose feel congested when they're supposed to be protecting us from getting sick, but it's not like I was going into depth about the whole anti-mask-during-Covid philosophy; I know it's a sensitive topic, so I was just being brief and casual. She and another coworker were pretty much all, "Okay, John, that's enough. Let's not talk about that." It could've been that, or something before. IDK. Or how about the time I told another coworker *(whom I didn’t think would resent this, since he’s clownish, snuck up on a guy, and once made a weight joke to him)* “put a sock in your àss. I mean mouth.” He told me I can’t speak to him that way. I didn’t intend harm; he had interrupted a question of mine to another worker to (if I remember correctly) playfully diss me. I guess I was annoyed with the dick-like interruption. When I apologized later, he said, “You’re good, man. You just need to learn how to speak to people." He's popular and social at work, but he acts like _I_ don't exist. Finally, I was once taken to my boss's office with her and a high-ranking chef. The chef told me that I've been touching my coworkers too much. Not _THAT_ type of touch, of course not! Just *_casual_* ones, like on arms or shoulders. I was always very outgoing at work. When I asked her if anyone complained, she said it didn't matter (so I assume yes). She told me that we need the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment, and that I pretty much shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school (I work at a university's catering service). She told me I shouldn't tell my stories because they may be inappropriate to my coworkers. Now yeah, I guess I do occasionally say "inappropriate" stuff at work, but not *_horribly nor intentionally._* I only meant to joke around and have fun. I really didn't get specific information from the chef about what and whom. She likes that I'm outgoing, but she made it sound risky and in need of limits. And again, that I shouldn't touch anyone without consent. But seriously, I'm not a creep. I didn't mean to be so "handsy" (I say loosely). I wish I was allistic.
But you guys gotta realize if you work really hard for a job that doesn't even pay off much. At the end of the day you deserve to be a little frustrated and angry and your friends should understand that right? I mean the things she was telling about her job were pretty frustrating and all Cory and Shawn do is frustrate her little more. They should've moved their car from her spot.
Feeny probably thinking Calm down Rachel you're lucky it's not a cherry bomb in a mailbox... Yes Cory and Shawn are troublemaking kid's but they're FEENY'S Trouble making Kids
I feel like people are missing the point, you can clearly see Rachel did not have a good day and the whole car thing just pushed her over the fence, don’t tell me when your having a bad day you won’t be mad even if it’s just the smallest thing, and if Cory and Shawn knew she was having a bad day, why put a whole CAR in her room? They started the prank war bc they started the 1st prank and that’s that ( MY OPINION
Rachel was out of line and abusing her power, but what Shawn and Cory went too far. Everyone was out of line which is what this whole story arc was about, how the little things become big things if left unchecked.
True, it was out of line. But you gotta admit 1 thing, though. For Shawn & Cory sneaking Rachel's VW into her room, & setting the car alarm to awaken her, Feeny was right!!! That was plain BRILLIANT!!! I never would've thought of that!!! LOL
Am I the only one who noticed Rachel took her frustration out on Cory and Shawn? And in all fairness Topanga did warn her. Though Feeny's reaction is priceless.
Think we can all agree with one thing here and thats what mr. Feeny said "How did you do it", i mean they put a car in there room while they were asleep. lol
