The funny thing is Sonny says that he and Brenda cant work without eachother but I think its Sonny and Carly who cant work without eachother and need and thrive off eachother. A fact that Jax and Brenda could never understand. The only person whoever understood the Sonny-Carly dynamic and approved of it was Jason
I agree with you........two hurt, distrustful, abandoned individuals who hated the world and themselves....and they came together and formed a bond that would bend but not break.....and Jason is there overlooking everything.
Alexis warned Jax. Carly warned Jax. Then Sonny warned Jax. Jax was so high on himself and so convinced of his own invincibility that he blithely assumed that he had won and no one could best him, least of all Carly and her "thug of an ex-husband" Sonny. It didn't help CandyBoy that he was in the process of verbally and emotionally abusing Carly when the judge came out and invited them in.
Nickole colon I think the same thing, and he did all of that for nothing. Because he lost his daughter and Brenda in the end.... He always thinks that he is so much better than Sonny he didn't realize he "went gutter" just to get back and him. You know I can't stand Carly's hypocrisy and all...but Jax knew she was Sonny's ex and mother to his children and that they were close. He should have thought of perhaps NOT getting involved with her in the first place if he feared the life of a mobster etc...
Exactly because Carly told him from the gate that Sonny was going to be her life because of the boys she told him plain as day if you can't do it let me know but he wanted her anyway and Jason is Morgan's godfather and Michael's uncle if you couldn't stand them why get involved

Jax tried to screw Sonny…….but my boy showed him who’s boss……and I’m sorry who vex……jaxass deserved that and then some…….if he would just concentrate on his daughter and leave Sonny alone!!!!……but his hate of Sonny is overriding his common sense……and that will continue to cost him.

I don't agree with what Sonny did, and I'm sorry, but Jax started the whole thing by paying off the court appointed mediator and not coming up with a compromise for joint custody. He's also known Sonny for about 15 years at this point and he knows what he does and how he fights dirty. Sonny always does what he has to do to protect Carly.
I hated Sonny and I still do. Jax might have done some wrong things but Sonny is a bully and a coward. The only person Sonny will ever love or care about is himself he does not give a damn about anyone else.
