Super exciting to see this car get worked on again. Will be insane with that engine. It's funny how once again the crank signal is one of the biggest obstacles.

I would think that you could get someone to create an Arduino board to output the correct 60-2 waveform in response to the ECU tach signal to keep the body control module happy in the Mustang . Don't forget that the Saab bellhousing is a GM pattern, so you can use a GM gearbox to get RWD layout with a Saab engine .

And then we can drive it !

YES PLEASE SAAB engine in something! Also, the DI Casette is actually a really cool solution (eliminates a lot of wiring and sensors), and the Trionic ECUs are extremely tuneable. But yes, the DICs fail from time to time, especially in warmer climate it seems.

Garrett is gonna be so much happier running Saabs on the ECUMaster. Only trouble will be newer Saabs with CAN or something similar. There are ways to make all of that happy too though. Only works if people develop it!

LOL my wiring on Rotaru looked like a bowl of pasta until I cleaned it up recently too. It always worked from day 1 though! You can do anything Garrett can do, Trevor. Even if it's not quite as pretty. We all wanna see you do more of it! ;)

Been waiting for y'all to finish this thing! The 7.3 is a monster my buddy has one in a 93 ranger with simple bolt ons that made 488whp/531tq on pump E85 thing will blow the tires off through 3rd from a roll without hesitation lol they make ton's of torque

Yo trevy. I know for a fact if you give the power steering rack power and ignition signal to the the small plug green wire only the rqck will work. No need to mess with can bus. I would know im running a s550 mustang rack on my crown vic swapped 68 f100.

MSD tach driver will work it uses the power wire that goes to the coils packs and turns it into a tach signal.

Gotta love a good ole OHV v8. Can’t get a lope like that on a DOHC v8.

Now brah, where da blower or turbo? coming very soon? Good ol 7875 would be good on the cheap, or a Garrett of course. This engine still gonna need more power to drift with the people you drift with. But I'm stoked for this build. Also, where the civic. I wanna see more awd, fire spitting lanches at NIGHT! I still go back at watch those from time to trime, just sick looking.
