We work through some issues to get my 2015 Ford Mustang with a 7.3 L Godzilla engine swap running and driving on the road!
We take it for its first drive and then stick it on the dyno to see how much power she will make!
It's running on the Holley Terminator X with the Plug and play Godzilla wiring
Holley Intake manifold
Deatschwerks 1000cc injectors!
Deatschwerks fuel system
Flowmaster exhaust
Stock MT-82 Manual transmission

Dude, I have been waiting to see a modern Mustang with a Godzilla for a while now. It's always older Mustangs, but the Godzilla is a modern engine for a modern Mustang, so it can't be all THAT dissimilar. I can't wait to see this thing ripping and putting down some big block horsepower!

Its crazy how this is a pushrod engine but it sounds like a modular. Ford is wild for that move.

Definitely not a sound you want to hear on a fresh build. Thankfully a quick diagnosis spotted the clutch to input shaft fitment issue. Then went on to make a ton of power on the dyno!!! 💪😯

I had a Centerforce clutch self destruct on me during break in. My mechanic got it on the lift and showed me all the pressure cracks. Went back to OEM and moved on. Not a fan.

put some good winter tires on it and those 8.8 axles will brake off at the wheel hubs causing the wheel and rotor to fall off while driving.

@cleetus did a swapped foxbody and blown the engine twice 😅 they dont like to rev high so be careful he went back to the great 5.0L coyote ❤

They aren't for revving high they're for sounding wicked and making massive torque low and mid range. It'll make more tq at 2000-2500 than a coyote does at peak it's apples to oranges. Coyotes are great but they ain't the answer for everyone and the 7.3 can be nasty with a decent combo.

Gotta get that overlap dialed in otherwise it’s gonna be ass being drive by wire it’s not liking it having as much as it does it wants a lot of vacuum so the throttle body’s trying to comp by basically shutting off

Ford's internal name for the 7.3L is Godzilla, just like the 5.0 is Coyote. You've got two Godzillas to work with now. Man, now I want someone to combine the two and build a 7.3 powered R34 GT-R.
