7.3 Powerstroke: Before and After FULL FORCE INJECTOR UPGRADE

In this video I give an honest review on Full Force Diesel's 180cc injectors with the 30% over nozzle for the 7.3. Along with the injectors, a Riff Raff FRx (Fuel Rail Crossover), a John Wood valve body and a PHP Hydra with custom tuning from 1023 diesel was installed as well. With all of the mods going into the truck throughout this video I should be somewhere between 350-400 HP. I have yet to dyno the truck but I hope to soon to get a HP/TQ rating as the truck sits now. This truck is mainly used for towing and I am happy with the purchase of these injectors and the other mods that went into the truck. The truck has more power throughout the RPM range, EGT's have been lowered and smoke levels are very conservative in my Economy and Towing tunes. Sixslowstan I’m sure u probably already know this but there is two plugs on back of each head and front of each head to drain both fuel and oil from the heads before u take your injectors out so u don’t have the oil and fuel drain into the cylinders. They r a Bain to get to them but can be done.

Absolutely do NOT have to do this. If you are doing this, you are creating a LOT more work for yourself. Use vacuum or even a big syringe to suck the oil out of the cylinders, turn it over a couple of times with the GPs out, and you are good to go.

BBslider001 yes it can be done that way to. Was just saying it can be done that way if u don’t have a vacuum pump or a syringe with a small hose to go through injector nozzle hole. U can still bend a rod or two if u try to blow all the oil and fuel through the gp hole. E350s are easy to get to the plugs on back of heads by taking off the dog house. But point was can be done.

I would delete the ebpv on your turbo before you upgrade, it makes a world of a difference in the powerband when the boost comes in.

Not nessacary since the ebpv stays open once the engine is at operating temp. Ebpv valve just helps the engine warm up, shouldnt be romping on it before its warm anyways

We cant make up for lack of maintenance...or previous owners....but these things are 20 years+ old..😂😰 I see stuck ebpv's at my shop all the time. Similiar thing happens to the egr system in the isx15 Cummins in big rigs( soot clogs unit..and stops or alters operation).

Torque is what you want, once you go over 500 hp on a stock 7.3 block bad things happen. Like connecting rods break and blocks will crack, the best combo for a 7.3 is a 200/30 injector and KC 300 X turdo

@@markcabral5983 I went a smaller injector the 185s I’m around 500 now. I have the 300x KC turbo and a AFE intake a S&B cold air intake, and 4 inch muffler delete exhaust. I also have stage 2 Suncoast transmission and a Hydra runner. It runs super crazy quick.

I don't have A T fitting I have a y fitting lol But the other thing is is going tapping in to the map sensor line that is 100% accurate boost And that's what I want my boost gauge to read that way if I'm down 1 or 2 pounds from my 32 I know it and I know to start looking for small boost leaks

Shut off the wide mode on your camera, medium setting is easier on the eyes .

I deleted mine it was leaking on pedestal got a garrett non ebpv and high flow exhuast flange .... well worth it but then again i live in a climate that rarely sees below 40. Also i removed intake heater and installed a plug from strictly diesel and ran my boost gauge from tht.

I ran my boost gauge line into the line for the map sensor. No holes needed in the map sensor will see true boost.

@@sixslowstan yea starting to get real frustrated.full force claims im running low fuel pressure but had that checked 2 times and was fine.just replaced my 3rd one 3 weeks ago if one more goes i will be switching back to oem ones..plus cold weather starting is a bit harder

I've gotten used to how they sound yet I need to take it back to the shop and have them check something else because I went to start my truck today I live in Michigan and I believe you do too so you know it's only like 45 or 46ﾟ which isn't that cold in when I started it It did this really fast paced clacking at 1st with a lot of smoke and then smoothed out after about 2 seconds but it does that on the 1st start of every day and I wanna make sure something's not wrong

Gabe Wall You will still have to crank the motor over with the injector harnesses disconnected regardless of changing the oil or not. When you remove the factory injectors oil and fuel from the head drains into the cylinder and must be cleared out. Hany Jacoub You can definitely feel the difference in power. The towing power of these injectors is very noticeable as well. I have yet to dyno the truck but it should be close to 400hp. Not too sure on what torque numbers I would be close to.

Mr. ATLien Engine/injector noise is noticeably louder/different. Inside the cab, I couldn’t tell a difference. Stock injectors are a split shot while the new injectors are a single shot. This is the reason for the sound difference.

Did it hurt your fuel mileage? May need some in my 7.3 soon cant decide on stock or going up a bit like these. Use it for camping towing my ATVs so don’t want to go to shit fuel mileage and make weekend trips that much more expensive

I got a 97 f350 7.3 cab n chassis flatbed that im thinking about turbo swap then eventually injectors for when i pull my trl up to buckley old engine show. 22k gross until i can get a pickup camper then 24k expected. You can make more power more reliably with a 6.0 and for less money

You can't go over 450hp on a 7.3 without doing a major overhaul to engine and transmission. With a 6.0 you can get to 800hp with only injectors, head studs, turbo, and stage 2 solenoids and pan in the transmission

Mr. ATLien Performance is good. I have yet to have the truck on the dyno but I would estimate it to be close to 400 HP. Stock turbo still keeps up with these injectors which is one of the reasons I went with these 180/30s. A turbo upgrade would really be the icing on the cake with these particular injectors. I am planning on going the T4 kit route.

313dieselguy I just put my 02 back together due to a broken injector hold down. Since It was all torn apart gave unlimited diesel and pulled the trigger on some serious upgrades. They fixed me up with 238/80, irate fuel system, 366sxe t4 setup and gearhead tunes. I told them she had pmr’s so I’m probably going to feather the throttle for a while for being gun shy. Lol

George Srisomsak Truck runs really good. I’d go with gear head tuning with those injectors. Truck barely smokes unless you stab the throttle in the high setting. It’s been on the West Virginia turnpike a couple times with light towing and haven’t had an issue at all.

Nope it doesn't sound like it's missing on half the cylinders it sounds like an OBS which run single shot injectors. Not to mention the Cam design in A 7.3 Allows for the very unique sound that the 7.3 produces hence to why you know A73 is coming before you ever see it
