167 was one of the 99 Leyland Olympian tri-axle 11m A/C (106-204) in Citybus' fleet. It belonged to the 3rd batch, and was delivered in 8/1991. All of them were coach seated, as Citybus at that time was mainly a non-franchised bus company operating residents' service and cross-border routes. From 2003 to 2004, Citybus sold 54 of the class to Stagecoach in UK. 167 was one of them, and was re-number as 13610. It was later sold to Cedar Coaches, which was taken over by Herberts Travel.
A short ride from Herberts Travel's yard to Bedford railway station. It did not sound quite like what I would have expected from a Citybus Leyland Olympian, both inside and outside, perhaps the extra grille on engine door mattered?
