Hi Suzie, just got your video and find it perfect for preparing for spring. I love the garden and try enjoy it as much as possible. Your choice of alfresco shows decorations and practical ideas that can be easily incorporated in any porch or patio. I have started preparing for good weather so I enjoy looking at your projects . Especially this video where you show so many welcoming seating areas. I agree that candles can lift a room as well as bring positive energy into our lives. Candles shown here are lovely. Never thought of large plants or planters to decorate rooms in a home. But now after watching I have more confidence in incorporating them outdoors or in my living areas. Again thank you for placing so much effort in sharing your good taste with us. There so many ideas on RU-vid but yours are very instructive, easy to follow, beautiful and full of taste. I find it good to decorate without requiring huge amounts of money to achieve a certain look. 🖐

I'd love to re-create a lot of these looks, but what I can't get my head around is ... what happens to all cushions and furniture during seasonal weather. I can imagine bringing in a few scatter cushions - but an entire sofa? I've left cushions on my outside furniture as little as a week and they get covered with crud! * shrugs *

Hi Jennifer, thank you for watching :) Yes it can be a challenge if there is not undercover protection. I think it comes down to choosing furniture with the right weather resistant material for your set-up. We love synthetic rattan with outdoor cushions that can be washed or teak, as it ages nicely with time and is very durable. We usually store outdoor cushions in storage boxes in the laundry if we aren't using the outdoor space often. Have a great week xx
