Like every country armenians come in different colors shapes and sizes. My armenian family is full of blondes, redheads and light brown hair people with green or blue eyes, many hazels and light to pale skin, only one or two are this kim kardashian olive skin black hair style. The caucasus holds many other types since dna is a roulette. We have to celebrate our differences knowing that we are all the same species. I dont give a damn if armenia is an european, asian, middle eastern, caucasian, intercontinental or martian country. Every country is beautiful, but hate, war and blind patriotism only brings the monstruosity out of us. Lets make love and peace our revolution so we can finally have some evolution for god sake!! I don't really understand why people keep having to comment rude things. I'm Armenian and I have family members that can lean closer to fair and European looking and I have family that are even darker than she is and very Arab/ middle eastern looking. For example I have the same skin tone, same thick black hair, and same thick eyebrows. Even if you look at the stereotype of an Armenian it looks a whole lot closer to her than some pink toned blonde girl from Central Europe. (In fact I've probably only met a handful of very fair and blonde Armenians and they usually have Russian ancestry) Even when looking at Armenia and its culture, a lot of it has middle eastern influence because the Armenian people were not only ruled by the empires in that region (note how fucking close it is to the Middle East) but the diaspora lived and still live in middle eastern countries. Even if it is "Indo European", there is a good reason why many Armenians feel more closer to the Middle East than Europe.
I myself could never compare myself with Europeans, I feel like there is no similarities culturally or even appearance-wise. The only reason Armenians could possibly find some things in common with Europeans comes from all the Russian influences during the Soviet Union. I personally find myself closer to people from Iran, Lebanon, or Syria. I feel like there is a more cultural connection (however not in a religious standpoint) and looking at their culture gives me a sense of familiarity. It feels like home. Ive had enough with people claiming that Armenians are this or that when the only thing they know about us is our location on a map.
+Natalie Toma I just meant that most middle Eastern countries are Muslim and majority of Armenians are Christian, that's the only difference I was talking about 🙂. of course there are other Christians in that area as well but I'm just stating the difference between the majority of people in that area. Even though Armenians and other middle eastern people in that area have similar cultures, the different religions play a big factor in what makes them different than one another

I'm eastern european and I too have sculpted high cheekbones, green eyes, and a warm skin tone :) I feel eastern europeans are the closest thing to middle eastern people so we share similar features a lot of the time.

2:30 - I have a theory as to why make-up always looks good in the store but not when you get home. It's probably because of the temperature of the lighting. Stores have fluorescent lighting, which is a much whiter color of light (5000k). But at home you have domestic lighting bulbs that are always more yellow in color (2700k). Hence the different appearance of skin.

+Ale Arreola any product can break you out specially if they have a really high coverage like mac products tend to have. The great thing about powder is that they sit on your skin rather than actually going into it! You can always give it a try and see for yourself just remember to use a clean brush rather than the sponge that it comes (or replace it regularly) and have the right skin cleaning routine! But also by any means stick to what works for you. And good luck!

Armenian people was formed from the 13 tribes of the Armenian Highland, we have different phenotypes and different color of hair and eyes. It is not write to sa that we all have oil skin. Not all Armenians are Middle Eastern, only those from the southern regions of the Armenian Highlands are, those from the northern regions are Caucuses people. Armenia is not actually Middle Eastern it’s more like asian/western. Like turkey is sometimes argued to be asian or western asian as apposed to being Middle Eastern. Also the Middle East is not just Arabs, you’ve got Persians (Iran), Kurds, Turks, baloch, etc People try to stretched the Middle East example to North Africa or (Turkey, Armenia) but there’s a select few that are historically organically Middle Eastern.

Does the eyebrow tip work for people with semi-sparse eyebrows as well? Sadly, I don't have a lot of hair in my eyebrows, and yet, I find it impossible to get the feminine, well-groomed appearance that most women seem to have. Pasthun and Farsi language Persians speak is mutually intelligible, if I'm not mistaken. The Tajik people for instance are considered a branch of Persians. I do study Now take North African Amazigh people, they are mixed up with Arabs too, and even South Asians. I have no idea how, because South Asians from India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh have their own distinct look

Maybe the regions close to the Middle East, yes, but go to the Maghreb area and you'll find many cultural and ethnic Amazigh- my family from south Morocco being one of them. I also did one of those DNA tests out of curiosity and there was 0% Middle east in it. I've also uploaded my results to other sites and found no leads that trace to the Middle East- if you're curious (since you mentioned you've studied it) I did have some Tanzanian and West-African (both traced back from quite a long time ago). But the rest was just North-African:)
