literally my life. Everyone in high school thought I looked like a train wreck. I had a very good skincare routine and always washed my face and everything, while all of these other girls sleep with their makeup on and still have flawless skin 😭 Us girls with acne need to stick together because we all know what it's like and these other people just judge us!

(the 12th is a rotating mask which I have to use every other day). If I miss even a day my bad skin suffers badly. And wouldn't you know it? I STILL have acne, blackheads, and scarring despite all of that and all the scar creams make me break out, anyway, even with my best preventative measures. So "born like that?" I would say so. Because I have used every single American product and a few foreign products, went through a few prescriptions, and have, I feel, done everything within my means, and even a little out of my pay, just to find a solution, and there ISN'T ONE. Unless, perhaps, I'm rich enough to get extensive help and work done. But even then, I'm not very hopeful considering my dermatologists haven't been able to help me, either. Literally the entire first half of her video was basically screaming "make your face look ABSOLUTELY AWFUL if you have acne or acne scarring". Bring color into my face? So all my scars and everything else can be bright red and blaring at you? Nty.

@Peggy Gilespie but it didn't work for me. i got my acne from 11 and now I am 14. Almost for one year, I stopped eating junk food becuz of my ed. I also stopped consuming dairies but my acne didn't decrease. now I am using two kind of medication including benzol peroxide and I rrly hope it will work.

@@ilovemusicami3216 I'm in my late 20s, what finally did it for me was every night before bed (u can do it in the morning too) I rubb my face with a wet wash cloth, dry it, rub Nature's Bounty E-oil all over, and then finish with Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion (***the last step is optional). I make sure to not put the oil too close to my eyes because my eyes don't like it. My acne is not completely gone (I think I eat too much sugar), but it is dramatically better & is rarely noticeable. (Unless I get behind on the upkeep)

Remember this tip: After washing the face one must replace the WATER & the FATS in your skin. We have both water & oil so they must be replaced for the skin to be balanced.

I actually think girls with acne often look better without makeup. Often when people try to over-cover, they tend to highlight what they are trying to cover. Plus, makeup can make acne worse, so there's that...

Sigh... Someone who doesn't know what he's talking about again.. I agree with you on the makeup part but I hate makeup in general. The thing is even though it doesn't look good you feel like you have to cover it up in order to be accepted. By now my skin is good enough that I only have to use powder but not everyone is that lucky and I know cause I've suffered from severe acne for 5 years. Even now I would never dare to go outside without any makeup on so if it makes girls with skin problems feel at least a little bit more confident when wearing makeup, leave them be and be considerate. It will usually go away at some point but at that moment you feel like there's no other way than covering it up. And puberty acne is pretty much always a result of hormones trying to get their shit together, it doesn't have to do with makeup. You should definitely always clean your face before going to bed but everything else is mostly irrelevant.

Me too! However, I have noticed most women in the town where I live wear little to no makeup. I however am a full face of makeup kind of girl. I wear it everyday. When I do go out without it, people ALWAYS ask me if I am okay. I try and think that people aren't trying to be rude or aren't saying that I don't look nice without makeup. I think they are just curious as to why such a change in me. Maybe that's why people ask you that also :-)

People only ask that because they aren't used to seeing people who always wear makeup without any makeup on and vice versa. If you don't wear makeup up for a couple of days i'm sure others will get used to it :)

I like to go without makeup sometimes, just to help clear up my face a little and just because it takes a lot of time in the morning and sometimes I wake up later than I want to. People asked me if I was sick or if I've been crying,and after a while it stopped cuz I kept going to school without makeup on. But later in the day,if I have a free period I'll put some on just because I have a little extra time. You'll get used to it after a while :)

Ignore them. That is what i do. People are people and they are not you. They will always want to have something to say to "control" another person's life. If you are ok with it, that is all that matters.

I can't do bare face either, but I sheer a little bit of concealer with some moiturizer and apply only under my eyes and some major spots that are really red. It feels really good to not pile up on stuff on your face from time to time. I too wish I had Sona's lovely skin, but... what you gonna do haha xo :)
