That X5 Reserve is absolutely GORGEOUS. DLC never gets the justice it deserves on camera. I'm a pocket knife addict too, and DLC is my favorite coating. It's like having the highest polish possible that doesn't have to be buffed and generously oiled every time you touch it. I love it❤❤❤
how do you work for Sig and what qualifications would someone need? I'm in college right now and am undecided at the moment. Is there a specific degree that Sig looks for? Thanks for all the innovation over the years. I love Sig.
I've been in C level sales for over 20 years. I've sold investments as a licensed broker. Tangible assets. Precious metals. Rare Coins. Corporate Accounting. Crude oil and natural gas drilling and land leasing. I want to SELL GUNS. BADLY. I grew up in WV. I got my first rifle at 6 yrs old. My first Handgun at 8. If I sold firearms, it would be for SIG. It's a product I believe in. Definitely my 1st choice. Hook me up brother! I'll take this energy broker's license and throw it in the bin. I'd love to know how to get my foot in the door. I don't care if it's an entry-level position in sales. I've been in the Top 3 sales people in every company I've ever worked for, and I believe I'd be a valuable asset selling something I'm actually passionate about for once.
That targeting system is AWESOME! You get skill improvement, but the games part is really innovative for younger shooters and a much more fun range day with the guys when you aren't feeling like running drills on a sunday. I'm thinking it would be a BLAST shooting rimfire with kids.
I would respectfully disagree. They are my favorite pistol and the gun I shoot the most. I own 10 and my buddy has I think 15 now. They are a great gun despite what social media says
Multiple components from the .308 Spear were redesigned (or removed) on the new 6.8 Spear. Sucks for the .308 owners that got shafted in less than two years. Should have waited... Thanks Sig.
I'd like to see Sig partner with the 365 Raider designer and offer a 365 chassis. Put a Fuse slide on it and offer a 4.3-inch threaded barrel that would likely net a 5- inch overall barrel length. Make the chassis available separately. Promote it under the 'Sig Interchangeably' concept.
Bro SIG makes cool guns but they gotta own up to the P320 flaws and issue a recall. People are getting hurt and a "voluntary upgrade" or whatever they said is not acceptable
Same for Glock unsupported chambers. If folks learned to use manual safeties like on the M17/18 then none of the SIG "trigger problems" would be a problem. The military has no complaints but they have the manual safeties.
@@rbm6184the manual safeties, according to an Army armorer that came into my local gun shop, the springs also wore out or were missing on the early guns. My M18 has the correct spring so that is the only reason I considered one. Ended up having my gun shop sell it for me without taking it home.
The flaw is social media. If social media existed in the late 80s early 90s we wouldn’t have the p320 because Glock would have been taken off the market for being too dangerous from people shooting themselves.
@@rogerwood5228 there have been 80 people injured by their 320 just going off while not even being touched, there was a huge law suit recently. Not hard to find the information about it
@heatheruntz5315 No, I'm asking about when where and how that the Sig P320 just fired all by itself in the holster. Not negligent use or accidental discharges from foreign objects coming into contact with the trigger.
@rogerwood5228 nothing came into contact with the trigger, they just went off. 2 in particular were in police officer's holster and were caught on body cam.
The 365cFuse appears to be an X-Macro TacOps with a redesigned longer slide assembly and the same sized grip module with different grip texture... And a prettier finish on the trigger. I suspect it's ballistically the same gun as a TacOps with a (4.3") threaded barrel. Please correct me if this assessment is incorrect.
I hope Sig does a deep dive on the 320 and can successfully recreate whatever issues caused the 'uncommanded discharges'. Determine an on-demmand method for reproducing the issue. Redesign the FCU, striker, and related assemblies if required. Make a correction package if the gun is determined to be faulty and offer it as free and under warranty. Surely, this will improve your process, product, and future design capability and will enhance customer perception and trust in SigSauer.
@XrayMike17plus1 the 320 has been tested by hundreds if not thousands of people in an attempt to reproduce an "uncommanded discharge." To this day, no one has been to post 2017 upgrades. There's a reason most of the issues that continue to arise are from law enforcement and are not being seen practically at all in the general public.
Grab a SP2022 before they stop making them. Best Sig for the money and so underrated imho. I have mine in 40. I'm not sure if they make them in 40cal still. There used to be a drop in 9mm barrel for them. Not sure if anyone still makes them. Still, grab the 9mm version. Best Sig kept secret in a gun.
I love my P320. My son is a LEO. He’s carried a Glock for ten years. But he grudgingly admits my 320 with the flat trigger is, in his words, “a damn fine pistol”. Dropping the price of their magazines would be a happy making thing.
I'll stick with Glock, Sigs quality control has gone done and they're overpriced. The M7 rifle is pointless, i hope it has the same fate as the M14 and Scar rifles.
A lot of RU-vidrs are. I’ll stick with the Sig P2xx series when it comes to Sig. I do own a P365 but I waited to buy it until all the Beta testing on the consumers was completed.
The 6.8×51 and 7.62x51 rounds produce almost exactly the same energy (2,700 ft lbs) so will have approximately the same recoil in the same rifle, though the former will have a sharper recoil impulse due to the higher pressures (80,000 psi vs. 60,191 psi). The 7.62x51 M1158 round is also superior to the 6.8×51 M1186 round, while the XM7 is a poor assault rifle due to its weight, recoil, and inferior magazine capacity compared to the M4 Carbine and SIG MCX in 5.56x45. As for the 6.8×51 round being markedly lighter than the 7.62x51 round, if you use the same hybrid case design on 7.62x51 rounds there is virtually no weight difference.
@Lutz101 you're missing the point of using the 6.8. It will offer superior ballistic performance against armor over the 7.62. The longer, narrower projectile that's only a few grains lighter is the better option.
@@rogerwood5228 No substantial difference. Kinda funny that the US is not even replacing the 7.62x51 round, which is a tacit admission that the 6.8×51 round is a bullshit concept, and akin to augmenting the 9x19 round (but not replacing it) with the 7.62×25 Tokarev round for use in some pistols and SMGs. A monumental waste of resources. Even the .338 LM will not defeat the best Class 4 plates with AP rounds but causes far more backface deformation due to it having much more energy (5,100 ft lbs vs 2,700 ft lbs) so will do a lot more damage to the sternum/ribs than any 6.8×51 and 7.62x51 round, but is a terrible round for an assault rifle due to the recoil and the weight of the ammunition and guns. If you just want to penetrate Class 3+ plates then the 7.62x51 round will do as good a job as the 6.8×51 round, but I would still much rather have a 5.56x45 chambered M4 Carbine (6.43 lbs) loaded with Green Tip than an XM7 (9.84 lbs) in 6.8×51 or 7.62x51 for general combat use.
