Does not work the way you guys are explaining it. For civil Engineering, it does not matter where you do your masters it's all about the nearby market. For instance, TX, FL, and AZ are states where construction has seen a boom It is easy to find a job here. My friends at Purdue used to attend career fairs at my university which was in FL.
