One thing people forget is during that draft Sports Illustrated had Cam Newton, Jake Locker, and Blaine Gabbert on the cover and it was a debate of which QB the Panthers should take.... Read those names again and tell me the Panthers didn’t make the correct draft pick

Wait, did I hear homeboy right....??? He said the Panthers offense scored 17 touchdowns in 2010?!??!??! What??!?!?!?! SEVENTEEN??? That's woefully awful...that's just over 1 per game! Wow...I remember Jimmy Clausen being bad, but I didn't remember the Panthers being THAT bad that season.

I dunno... I feel like among Heisman winning QBs Carson Palmer has a more complete resume then Newton does, at least for now. Then again, Newton did beat Palmer in the 2015 NFC Championship game, so he'll always have that.

He does not even belong in the top 10. Earl Campbell, Marcus Allen and Tim Brown are all in the HOF in the NFL. They all had much better careers - granted that Newton is not done yet but I seriously doubt if he will have a great career.

Nickichu he played the top defenses in the playoffs. The cardinals had the 5th best. Seattle had the 3rd best. And Carolina and Denver had the 1 and 2 best. He literally played 3 of the top 5 defenses.
