picolo2022 Games Lotus is NOT focused on acceleration times, they are more focused on handling. I own a Delorean, which was equipped with Lotus suspension, and that thing ran laps around Camaro's and Mustangs out on the track. However, my Delorean, with a 175 horse engine, was barely able to do 13's in the quarter. Lotus is a handling company, not for maximum acceleration or top speed. Yes, I know the video says it only has 130 horse, but that is the 4 cylinder engine, which I got the 6 cylinder.

Driving an E46 M3 from 2004. E46 320D is a pretty common car so people mistake mine for one. One day, I was walking with a girl. A Peugeot 206cc (the convertible one) drives past us and she tells me what a nice car that is and how cool it looks and is. I tell her it's nothing special, it's small with a small engine and not that good build quality and she asks me "What car do you drive?" So I answer "A BMW M3" and I show her in a parking lot how it looks like. "The convertible one is much cooler than yours, yours is boring" Believe me, every single cell in my body wanted to strangle her with that fucking Peugeot.

Well, by changing launch speed, it technically does make it faster. As any trackable timed distance will be improved because the initial grip through the torque stages is improved, meaning the car can accelerate faster. if they put the GTI motor i it, it might have been faster.

Not 100% sure what that last comment means but basically the Subaru BRZ is extremely close to the Scion FRS in specs and design. Non car people think they are the same cars because they look the same and have close to the same name. They both have almost the same horse power and body so car people always debate between the BRZ and FRS. Personally, I prefer the BRZ because it sounds better, and looks better. Plus Subaru is a great brand

The delorean was very underpowered, even for its time with less than 150 bhp and was supposed to be a supercar. Many supercars during that time had about 300 bhp. It's still a cool car, but not good.

Gianlu Travi btw the GT86 was supposed to be the successor of the AE86, which was a slow but fun 80s Corolla, and even Keiichi Tsuchiya (Drift King, the One who popularized Drifting and the AE86) said that the GT86 reminded him of the AE86 and that it disserved the 86 badge, and side note the GT86 and AE86 pretty fast on the togue, Tsuchiya has a 200hp AE86 and it's held it's own and even beaten modified R34 GTRs, the GT86 has also held it's own and beaten Japanese legends, the people who say the GT86 is slow are right, because it is slow on a straight line, but gain some skill and try driving it on a mountain pass or the track, the 86 is a car that takes skill to drive fast, maybe the haters just don't like cars that take skill to drive it's full potential 🤔

Don't judge someone based on their desire to have aftermarket lights that will make the truck look better because the head/tail lights on my truck look like dog S***. I don't build my car, I bought it brand new, It's still stock yet fine by me, I'm contented with around 150hp and 190Nm of torque, I still doesn't have plans of making her horse power higher, I only change tires if me and my car need to, I love sports cars and super cars but I am not dreaming of owning some, Though, I appreciate the beauty of cars history, I love the engineering, I take care of my car, I maintain her well, always checking her tires, wheels, engine, oils, coolant, baterry, steering, brakes, belts, lights, leaks (if there's any), washer, wipers, tools, accessories, gas, cleanliness, hoses, horn, safety, and everything in between, I love my car, and the best feeling is when I drive her. So, can I still be called a car guy?

Plymouth Prowler. My dad lost his mind the day the spec sheet for the Plymouth Prowler came out. Everyone was expecting a modern take on hot rods, and got an automatic 160kw V6. Never cancelled a pre-order so fast. 7.2 second 0-60 in an "open wheeled hot rod". What a joke that was.
I like the prowler in terms of looks. Plymouth would have sold a lot of them had they stuck a V8 under the hood. It wouldn’t have to particularly fast but it would have lended itself to the modding culture perfectly at the time.

@Tristan Hartman, yeh i agree, i have a 2014 5.0, and it has a few aftermarket parts so i wont quote more than factory but, the 2014 5.0's put out around 420 factory with around 380 ft lbs torque, and the only thing mine has after market is a cold air intake and performance exhaust, ive raced 3 genesis coupes around where i live, and i beat em with little trouble dont get me wrong, but , with the style and power they have for what they are i wouldnt say i wouldnt drive one, considering they're alot cheaper to fix up.

Toyota Celica 140 is a leisurely 0-60 of 8.7 but MR2 is a brisk 8.4. So whats going on. Is 8 and a half seconds slow or fast? Personally 8.5 is a good benchmark for the everyday road
My 2004 Mazda Tribute can beat that number. Now if where talking about taking turns and shit, the MR2 handles really well... it's a fun car to drive. 8.5s isn't bad at all though for everyday use, you'd be right about that.
