My car nissan tiida 2007 non cvt gearbox repaired last week . Now gearbox is work fine but in high slope or in hill car roll down very fast if break released so difficult to accelerate . Please help me what is the reason . It dose not have hill start assistant in this model . Please help me
Car won't go forward or backwards. Had transmission filter and fluid changed, ran fine for a week. It's now back doing the same thing. Some whining, not wanting to move. RPM fluctuations Any ideas ?
I have a 2014 jeep compass ran good for awhile...now it starts but won't move at all i replace the transmisson module and added fluid ...still nothing..and also the transmisson light is not on but the engine light is...i wonder whats wrong?
I replaced one solenoid on my Pathfinder ( code is gone now) and new filter . now I have a “no move” situation. Transmission shifted perfectly before y took down the valve body and replaced the one solenoid. Nothing is broken in the TCM.
Hi! 1). Try to check the fluid level and the fluid condition. 2). Make sure all the wiring connections to the solenoid and the TCM are properly connected. 3). Perform a transmission relearn (Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to reset the TCM). Good luck!
If it's front wheel drive andnu changed ball joints make sure your drive axle is all the seated into transmission and ur spins are seated correctly into the hub( rotar)
@@masehoward8792What type of car do you have? The shifter or shifter cable could be the reason why OR the bushing (a tiny plastic piece on the end of your shifter) could have broken and you need to replace them.
@laurencameron3150 hey, got the same problem in an 2003 manual 5 speed toyota. It starts but won't move, the clutch had no play in it got it fixed it had some air bubbles in the pipes flushed it, So got pressure. Then again it starts goes into gear, 1,2,3,4,5 R, but still won't move gets a clicking noise while entering each gear. Removed the shifter to maybe be align the gears, hence it doesn't and thing I can't align.
sometimes i get this issue (not alway but let's say once every 50 times) where when i am in neutral, i start the engine and then set to D the car won't move and only rpm increases. I try to quickly put to P and back to D and it seems to work eventually. Any ideas why this happens? This also happened on my other vehicle as well (Ford fiesta and focus)
I just swapped my engine in my 2003 vw passat 1.8l, we have the torque converter colted right and I refilled the transmission fluid, when starting the car it shifts and everything but wheels arnt spinning, we rotated the wheels for over an hr to try to get the fluid pumped into the right spots but still not spinning when put in any gear? Everything's up to par with new fluids, everything's connected, id really like to avoid pulling the transmission out cause it's fwd, please help
2005 Buick LaCrosse CX with Column Shifter (114k miles) Was driving PERFECT going 30. Stopped at a light and it made a singular “clunk” noise (not metal-y). Now it takes about 20 secs at 3-4k rmp to get past 5mph then goes up to 40 slowly. Doesn’t appear to be shifting at all but drives fine at 40mph. All my gears are like this (PRND2 and 1). Looking around for new transmissions 4T65-E FWD rather than tracing the problem since these cars apparently have the trans blow around 150k miles anyway.
Great video man. My car was driving smoothly then sudenly the revs just went up and i had no drive. Car revs , but wont move at all. Going to check fluid first. Then get a mechanic to go through the list
My 2014 Nissan Sentra has about 82k miles and was working fine, well fine for it....(it's always had some electrical issues but they never messed with driving) the other day it drove me a few towns away then NOTHING... I put it in Drive, reverse, everything my car will still Rev but it won't move 😭 it moved ONE more time but only let me accelerate One time and once that acceleration was done the car was too, it didn't wanna go anywhere again. I had to have it towed 😢 it's been at the mechanic since Wednesday and the guy told me if it was just the linkage or something easy he could fix it, but If it was something big he'd have to wait for the owner to get back from vacation, well it's been 3 days and I haven't heard anything so I'm guessing it's not something small.... STORY OF MY LIFE.... I didn't know there were so many things that could cause your car not to move. I don't have any leaks, it shifts fine still, no grinding or noises.... like I said it felt like my normal car but it just wouldn't move in any gear. Idk why this has to happen EVERY SINGLE TIME I save a decent amount of money, my car shits out on me. 😭😭😭😭😭 im seriously hoping it's not the tranny because then I have to junk it, I don't have $3500-8k for a rebuilt or new transmission. 🤦🏻♀️😭😞
