im 18 and probably when I'm 25 I'll adopt a child, gosh I really want one to take care for and spoil and teach😭 I said I never want kids but adopting one oh my! something in my brain just says I have to!
I am applying for adoption through agencies and the stigma is a huge obstacle. Many countries don't accept single parent adoptions. A few countries only let single people adopt special needs child or a child age 6 and up. A lot of agencies don't even want to fight for single women.... So I find myself fighting alone, going over the adoption agencies, and speaking to the orphanages.
I’m a single dad , my daughters mom passed away when my daughter was 7 and she’s 13 now and we’re doing fine, I want to adopt a Son so he has a sister and she has a brother and they have family for life. But not gonna lie I’m scared 😂
I’m a single male and I’m not big in the dating world but do want a baby girl, I have two sisters and a brother basically helped raised them with my parents, I want to adopt a baby girl but some people look at me like I’m weird for wanting to adopt a baby girl, I guess I can understand since being a single man there’s a stigma about it but I would love to adopt a baby girl, my sisters would love her n my parents support the idea, idk I’ll see what the next two years are like
@@ambersinclairofficial thank you and good bless you too, I just turned 23 and I think 25-26 will be the right time for me to adopt, I’ve been thinking about it since I was 18, my aunt asked why n if I would want a future partner to give birth, I don’t mind having a baby by blood or not, I guess time will tell, why do you want to adopt?
@xriotx3005 same here I wouldn't mind children by blood but less of that and would love more adopted children since there's more need of that. I want to adopt since I was in foster care at 16-18 and I saw so many abandoned children who need homes. I also want to adopt in my mid-late twenties. I have a lot of brothers and a Good family which I think would love on any kids I adopt and I have a wonderful biblical church community that would support it as well. I LOVE hearing men say they want to adopt as it's not as often as I hear women say it. I love your heart for kiddos 🤍
I am 16 and I plan on being single because as much as a relationship can turn out amazing and enjoyable so much can go wrong in it and I don't need the stress of it! Along with that, I plan on adopting kids to help them and provide a loving, caring home for them! I also plan on working in the medical field to save lives and doing a bunch of side jobs it'll be amazing! I cannot wait to help this world! I know it's waiting for me! Words of encouragement and prayers for my successful future would be much appreciated!❤️🙏😁
I am 32 years old, single no kids and I really don't have any hopes with dating and I am not attracted to any men I come in contact with for long term. I am possibly going to adopt before having a child of my own. My only issue is that I own a studio condo, and it won't be enough room for a kid, Ill have to rent it out to buy a small house or another condo. This is the only thing holding me back, since I am sure they won't allow me to adopt even If I can somehow separate the place to give the kid privacy.
Thank you so much for sharing these pertinent details. I'm looking into the 3rd agency so far and am committed to the journey of becoming a single mother via adoption. I've experienced one agency tell me they don't work with Single's. It was a hard blow, however I persevere. 😀
I'm thinkin about adopting, but my currently career is a truck driver.........pros and cons of that aspect lol........ Buckle Up your fixing ro see the country. Homeschooling? Alot of Q and A...
Thank you for all this valuable information and for being so warm and friendly and encouraging us to be optimistic. Thank you for providing this awesome channel it means alot to me!!!❤❤❤
What is the best child age to adopt as a single person? Some ppl are telling me a baby bc you can mold the child better. But I would prefer a child that isn't a baby bc I don't want to deal with a daycares etc. What us your thoughts? And do you think a private or state adoption is better?
Me too personally I'm planning to adopt a siblings group of two brothers. One is 17 years old with a younger brother as a single parent, less baby work for me, and more counseling for them. Public domestic adoption is way cheaper.
Im thinking about skipping the marraige bit of life and go straight to having a kid. Im looking into adoption because i think its wrong to make a baby when there are so many in need of homes
I tell you this stigma and bias don't regiment in my mind at all... I feel being a single man I would love to adopt a child of my own.. because the only reason why I say this I dealt with women with children and I became a father to them children but they daddy stepped in to harness.. I also helped raise my sister kids of five by myself literally and it gave me knowledge in reality of a woman don't have to do it by herself a man can do it too and I love kids and I just want to have for my own but it's hard to have your own when you have runnings with other people that you're attracted to that has kids and you have to deal with another significant of theirs getting in the way of the problem so I choose to be a single dad and I will be a great single dad
This is really informative, ty for the video! I'm still young but I've been thinking abt not giving birth for a while out of fear, so whether i'm gonna marry a husband or not in the future i still really want to adopt a kid :)
I would like to confirm if it's true that a single person who lives in 1 bdr can't be a foster parent or adopt as a child needs a separate bedroom!? Is it correct? Thank you.
Oh wow! Thank you for this I had no idea. I’m interested in adopting a 4/5 year old. I have a one bedroom apartment. Guess I will have to look into a bigger apartment.
Hey just wondering are their any resources out their for adult singles who have a disability, such as possibly having ADHD or autism? I am not planning on adopting until about 6 to 8 years from now due to needing to get my life together and go to counseling to better myself first. Is it possible to adopt a child if you have a disability? Also I work as a pediatric home health care nurse and love working with disabled kids, so I dream of adopting a disabled or possibly medically fragile child. I just wondering if anyone has ever gone through this while being neurodivergent. I have not been diagnosed yet but I most likely have ADHD and Autism. I am a 29 year old female who hopes to start the adoption process when I'm in my mid-thirties. Also I have never been in a relationship before due to having never been asked out by anyone on a date. I think I'm on the asexual spectrum. I'm not overly bothered by being single I just want to date once to see if it's for me, but I hate all the drama that comes along with dating and being in a relationship.
