@@jameshopkins534 All the islands are lovely, but if you really wish to go to the Azores islands, besides Flores, consider visiting Sao Miguel which is the largest island and is composed of two volcanic ranges with three crater lakes - Sete Cidades, Furnas and Lagoa do Logo. Really amazing! If you have time, Santa Maria is the nearest island to S Miguel and is linked by a ferry boat in the summer months, takes approximately 3 hours. Internal flights with SATA international is another option. Also consider a visit to Terceira island. Internal flights with SATA international from Sao Miguel is the easiest option, flying time approximately 40 minutes. If you like adventure and are fit enough, ... then also consider the Pico Island and climb the Pico Mountain, which Bernardo also did. :). :D.

I can't explain why but this video almost made me cry. The beauty of those islands is so stunning. The nature, the waterfalls, the people, the free animals... Este teu vídeo está incrível e toca em pontos essenciais, como o facto de ser possível viver em locais remotos, como o caso da ilha do Corvo. Revivi as memórias desta viagem e voltei a pensar num regresso ainda com mais calma para explorar tudo e fazer os trilhos. Nunca é tarde para conhecermos aquilo que o nosso país tem. Absolutamente lindo. Há muito tempo que penso em visitar os Açores mas ainda não tive oportunidade, e este vídeo deixou-me mais ansiosa pelo dia em que ponho lá os pés! Fiquei emocionada com o que disseste no final, porque é algo que nos temos de lembrar neste mundo cada vez mais acelerado e cheio de ganância: "A world without tension is a happier world, that money and possessions are not everything. It's still possible to live in a place where man and nature thrive together". Idealmente devia ser assim, vivermos em harmonia com o planeta :) P.S.: É tão bom ver animais serem tratados com carinho.
