@the wonderingelectrician , @Side Trail Adventures and Dirt Dobber join me on a Kayak camping quest to paddle the entire Deep River. 120 miles, 10 dams, long lakes, and rugged terrain stand in the way. This is a special river to me as my 7th great grandfather settled on these banks before the founding of this country.
After a long day of paddling and a little trouble finding a campsite, we shove off early into the unknown. Beautiful river, perfect weather, huge boulder gardens and time are in the path between us and High Falls, the 9th portage. Our plan was to take the first campsite we could find after High Falls and enjoy the afternoon. However, our plans changed...though we did thoroughly enjoy the afternoon!!
