I went to LA in November and went to the Comedy Store and was lucky enough to see Bobby and Rick. Bobby absolutely killed it, Rick followed and impressed the fuck out of me. Dude can follow anyone and stick to his brand of comedy and it’s going to work. This pod was awesome.

People:. If you ever have an opportunity to see Rick perform, jump on it. This guy is absolutely amazing on stage. I've seen him several times and his crowd work is almost magical. He can stand up there and just do crowd work and have the entire place rolling on the floor laughing. The guy is a crowd work genius.

@@PatFig that's probably your fault, not her's. On every podcast with a female co-host people hate on the female. So let's put aside that this is a show and a lot is not real, and let's assume everything is real: In that case Bobby is a giant man-child living like a teenager, who replaced his mom with a girlfriend. He is smart and knows what he should do, but he rarely does. A mixture of a nice guy, an arrogant celebrity and constantly bipolar between extrem insecurity and over confidence. Again and again you can hear how pity he can be and how he promises stuff he then wont do - and you hate the woman who lives with such a person for 10 years and basically does everything for him like a mom would?

This was a great episode. Very positive and uplifting. Everyone seemed happy. I really enjoyed this episode! Great start to 2022. Also for the people in the comments, kahlyla can say and do what the fuck she wants. It’s just as much her show as it is his. She’s the reason we have tiger belly. Stop talking shit about her. i'm in a similar situation to Rick, at 31, even being a thin, athletically built man, I had been sick/ feeling off for years and years and it was finally discovered that I had type 2 diabetes of all things! Diabetes runs in the family even though my family has always has thin body types in it. There are so many misconceptions about diabetes, like you need to be fat for type 2 or born with type 1.... . So I have respect and sympathy for Rick, as type 1 must be a literal nightmare to live with, especially if you develop it in later life, you have to re-learn how to live essentially..(I imagine if you've had it your whole life you dont know any different)

Sounds like he has what I have. Gastralparesis. It makes you throw up all the time. You basically can’t digest food, it sits in your stomach and then you throw it up. It can lik like ulcers or many other things. The test you need to do is the radioactive test where they scan your food every couple hours to see the time it takes to digest.

It's called the Gastric Emptying Scintigraphy (GES) test. And it sucks haha. I developed gastroparesis after a lupus related stomach surgery. There's a couple meds for it but the side effects aren't worth it to me. Hopefully you've found a diet or whatnot that works for you.
