I didn't realize how much I relied on Ada adding the player names at the top of the screen. It's weird not knowing who's PoV I was looking at in this episode.
7dtd has always had a crazy reach problem but the examples in this video seem particularly egregious. Simon was like a full 6ft away from the punk zombie and he still got hit? That's wild
I agree with Apssro, I think the whole thing with red skull difficulty seem a bit odd and out of place with the game being survival zombie sandbox game where you don't wanna to anticipate the 'surprise' but rather, let the game 'surprise' you instead without knowing the difficulty of poi. I hope there is an option to turn that off lmao
The Fun Pimps to do list: toilet lids open when looted, ability to close the oven doors/store stuff, better chicken smack sound, zombies have too much reach, characters move their arms while swimming.
i think they should make it so your stealth bonus is double or triple while inside cabinets with doors closed so its kinda like those horror games where u can escape and hide
"Should you do a video on the doors?" YES!!! We haven't had a Simon interior design video is such a long time. We need Simon to drop a video telling us about the new doors how they match (or don't) the herringbone floors and ceiling trim.
omg. iv watched countless others play the early access weekend but you guys are the best. like watching kids explore a new funhouse. The passive aggressive loving banter is heavenly to listen to. chemistry like no other. just wish man warrior thick44 was still here to give you guys issues. neebs gaming is number 1 for everything on the internet
Simon. Needs. To build a building that collets the zombies into a giant tank in the floor using bullet proof glass. And have a gap of air between the water and glass floor. So they can be right under you. Without hitting the glass
I can't wait for you guys to do the first Thick44 banner. I hope you guys have a lot of fun in alpha 21. I know I'm going to enjoy watching you guys! Take it easy fellas!
I wanted to watch this video when it first came out but then it made me think of Thick so didn’t click on it. Then again, Thick would obviously want everyone to continue to support u guys so here I am. Looking forward to more shenanigans. 😊👍
30 mins of video and I spent all 30 mins laughing my ass of. This is the most creative first look into 7D2D by far. 💙💚💖 Neebs - build a large storage box(NOT the writable) and paint it to look like the stove. Plenty of storage and still looks like the actual appliance. 😁 your welcome.
im not telling the dev what to make, but they really need to add a Simon vendor shop to the game. Some dude that sells you food while making a sandwich and crumbs falling out of his mouth the entire time. A few of the crumbs falling on the sandwich / hot dog while you are shopping with him. It only animates while you are interacting with the Simon Vendor
i would love to see yall play together on a public rust server and see how you fare against pvp i know yall have to be great gamers outside the private servers as well
From the channel that brought you "Interacting With Your Friends Using a Paintbrush".... "Neebs Science Experiment Alpha 21... uh.. Wrenching Car". If I'm ever kidnapped by a gaggle of amorous yet lonely exotic dancers, I want these idiots to be the guys hired to look for me.
From the beginning where they said their new home was the 4 skull POI to the immediate breaking of the zombie aquarium, this was fun to watch again. Darkness falls has been fun, but vanilla 7 Days will always be my favorite Neebs
The water change alone is huge! Still needs some work to make it flow better but dear lord its a huge improvement from what it use to be. I fought more with the water than the actual zombies in the past lol. I lost alot of hair trying to fill in swiss cheese holes in the water.
7 Days will be turning 10 years old this year. The OG original version looked like a minecraft knock-off. It's crazy to see how far it's come. NeebGaming, you guys need to do an OG version stream/video for the 10 years.
Hey guys @neebsgaming, @reachgaming has done a really great video on changes to Navezgane and they’re pretty big. How about revisiting Nav and rebuilding bases in all the original locations from the A16 series?
Oh my goodness I was in fits of laughter with Simon dying 😂😂😂😂 and the beds being 6 miles away, and shutting the doors behind Simon. I could go on but you get the point. Hilarious video!!!
Thank you for showcasing this on a monday. I had a day off yesterday to play test but I am a nobody in their eyes. Maybe in a few weeks I can give it a go. +1 on the thumb scale, \m/
Can't wait to give it a go! The changes to the lighting really help freshen up the atmosphere. Though... I'm waiting for Darkness Falls to be updated for the real fun lmao
I noticed that the light above the stove was flickering. It was very atmospheric. Little details like that can really enhance a game. So can big details, like water physics.
I can't wait to play this! But also, I'd love to see some crazy base building from the crew. They added a bunch of new building blocks and windows and such. Imagine lighthouse 2.0!
Man thank goodness for screaming rabbits remaining!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Neebs Gaming is doing the game testing that actually matters to REAL GAMERS! #LongLiveThick44 💜💜💜
The texture and lighting improvements look good. The big questions for me is what is the new progression system like, and how is the performance. New lighting and textures mean nothing if they tank my framerate.
@@CallMeSlade Yeah but what does FunPimps mean by that. 5% more peak fps? 5% better 1% lows? Personally I would just prefer a more stable framerate. 5% better peak performance is useless if tier 5 POIs still chug when all the Zombies wake up.
@@rustyshakkleford From the testing I've seen some of the youtubers who were given early access, its about 3-10 more fps on horde night and about the same fps during any other time. One person was having issues deep into a city, unsure what their specs were.
@@Dragonus881 Not to be that guy, but without knowing resolution and settings this is basically useless. If they were getting 60fps at 1080p, and that got bumped to 63, that is just outside error and completely inconsequential.
Yeah, that reach is a problem. From the start, I'm usually able to handle Tier 3 POIs because it was possible to manage the threat, interrupt one, dodge the others... duck and weave. But now it looks like the hitboxes have been extended out far enough that you're guaranteed to get hit if you were in melee. It's like the fun pimps watched playthroughs and thought to themselves "oh no, people are using skill... that's unacceptable." I hope armor is more effective to compensate.
After playing it I can verify that our reach is better too. You can get overwhelmed indoors easier but crows control still works as it did. Just takes more room to work.
Those zombies are greater ‘reachers’ than most of Doraleous’ puns-and that’s saying something! And I think Appsro proved there just aren’t enough bandages in the world to save Simon.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I enjoy yalls content alot. Next time, start the quest, and then just drop the bedroll wherever you want. I do believe that works, just don't forget to place the bedroll after you start the quest. Should effect anything once the quest is started to place a bedroll! Now you know!
look forward to the new alpha 21 series be it aloneish horde every night or just regular play. with one of the many things they didn't bother showing with doors you can attack through damaged doors now as they will show a hole in the door.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE YOU GUYS When you’re done looting a POI or anything PLEASE put a Thicc flag on it to show that the building has been Thicc’d clean. We know how much our boy loved his looting😂 that’s what I’m gonna be doing in my world
I like that you can actually catch the animals now. Like, I've always seen them having to give up because they lost track of the chicken or rabbit, because it was too fast and hard to see.
