Macarons are literally cookies with cream in the middle at times. OREOS ARE MACARONS IF U LOOK AT IT THAT WAY just buy cookie , put jam in the middle, thats a not so fancy Macaron.

I recommend if anyone is going to make macrons for the first time to look at preppy kitchen. I believe this video gives a good recipe but if you’re going to do it like them they may not turn out like you want. You’re gonna want to leave your eggs sit for about 30 minutes to an hour. As for putting the sugar in the egg whites you need to add it much slower or it will destroy your peaks. And when you’re putting the flour and powdered sugar into the meringue it’s important to process the dry ingredients and then sift it once or twice BEFORE putting it into the meringue. :) I hope this helps someone but please look at preppy kitchen he gives great advice and I made his macrons and the first time I made them they were great

4:57 you can see that the macaron they made is hollow. Which is a failed macaron which can be because of over beating or under beating the batter. They should never be hollow if done correctly.
Also, macarons should not have nipples like the ones at 10:15. These macarons also are uneven. If they’re going to put out a video about making something as difficult as a macaron they should get someone experienced that knows how to make them instead of showing off these improper macaron techniques
There are so many things wrong with this video and I’d be here forever if I talked about everything. If you want to make macarons there are plenty of videos and recipes made by people with experience that’ll actually result in a good macaron!
I know another recipe for macarons carries lemon and corn starch and they come out very similar to those made with almond flour, it is cheaper and is baked the same
Anyone struggling with making these cookies listen!! I made Macarons 5 times and every time I messed up horribly. My dad used to bake a lot so I asked him to help me, and he said ‘it’s all in the technique ‘ So get yourself someone who knows how to make macarons and ask him/ her to teach you. Good luck!!

@@chaiteaIatte nope cause it won't be easy to pay for the debt those cookies are EXPENSIVE! i once bought 2 cookies that was the cheapest from two different stores they costed me around 10 dollars! plus i can't find a lot of good stores to buys macarons
The whole presentation of these macarons are completely different of what I know. Macarons must be delicate, it must be soft in the inside and crunchy in the outside. The merengue must be have strong peeks and it can't look with lumps when you're piping, plus, you only need about 10 to 15 minutes maximum to let them dry and the put it in the oven. I suggest to use a silicone matt with the circle printed for better results.
Then they won't be macarons. I've tried with coconut flour and another one I can't remember the name of. Doesn't come out the way traditional macarons do.
A YT channel named Pufflova made macaron from oat flour. She said the texture is a bit different but it still looks like almond macaron and delish. Maybe it would help you but the language used in the video is indonesian. But the instruction and video is pretty clear.
