I feel like all these are going on and I'm just focusing on me and encouraging her personal growth while I focus on mine. I think the breakup was needed and for me it's helped me see things I need to work on and I have. Great video

My ex emailed me to tell me I'm blocked on everything and hopes I have a good life and I taught her alot. After following me on Twitter after I spontaneous made one. She commented on an anxiety post I made about limiting caffeine to help anxiety "wonder where you learned that" I really don't care to play these kid games. I'm just moving on. Well...She broke up with me 4months ago...after having 6 years relation. I met my ex few days ago. I have been in no contact cz i needed some space. He didnt try talking or anything. We met 2 months laters and he asked me, when am i getting that dinner treat? (I had promised to treat him to dinner months ago). I said, well you have been avoiding me. Thing is, I’m changing for the better, I’m not seeing any change from him which is kind of off putting and if he isn’t willing to change then what’s the point of us walking back into the same relationship. He told me he misses me then he pulled away. It’s like a cycle, I’m just trying to remain nonchalant throughout the process but it’s frustrating as I want to reciprocate the energy he’s giving me.

Good info, however, what if you just separated, then he filed for divorce and you are in no contact? I see no signs of anything except he's living it up. Of course, he was texting others and getting emotionally connected with them so it's not like he would be missing me. This after 10 years of marriage.

Hi clay. My ex has exuded a lot of these signs. However my situation is really unique. I have a flight to her city and have been in no contact for 3 weeks? I'm going to be stating with her. I accused her of playin mind games, and lying to me. She believes I was putting on an affront. Prior to that even though she never called me, whenever I called she would always call me back. During our last phone call, even when we said we didn't believe each other, we were still being honest. We even cried together at the end. When she suggested friendship, I said no. She couldn't say that we're done. I asked the question. " Are we finished?" She couldn't say yes or no. Thanks.

This video really hits home. I was confused why my ex was giving me hot and cold treatment over the course that we were talking again after I had blocked her and went no contact for a few months. I thought she was messing with me, but this video clears a lot of things up. She would act very affectionate at the times but then she would pull away and say things like I could find somebody better or that I don't love her. I wish I had seen this video sooner because I was frustrated feeling she was just toying with me and breadcrumbing me. I still see you on her social media that she is almost often sad and posting sad quotes and sometimes trying to act like she's getting better but I see how miserable she is and I am as well. I often would see that she would post pictures on her Twitter and she would be wearing a hoodie I bought her or she would take a picture of something but in the picture was something that I bought her. I was conflicted between her showing she cared and wanting me to reach out or her just trying to Hoover me and breadcrumb me again. I suppose if she does genuinely love me she will be the one to reach out this time. I know she's extremely stubborn and it's extremely frustrating. I fear we look that we both may end up miserable and never finding love like we experienced and always feeling regret and second-guessing ourselves, wondering how the other person really felt.

Being friends would probably work with some. If you agree to be friends with an avoidant, you will stay in the friend zone forever! Avoidants love being friends, and keep all ex's as friends. My ex invited me back into her life. Plus everytime I visit her home, she hands me back an item of mine. Mostly stuff that could be trown in the bin. It's seems like a form of anger.

She went back to her abusive husband and has been doing ALL of these things with me for a year and a half. I've told her she needs to leave me alone until she's pursuing actual divorce. I split from the mother of my children almost two weeks ago after nearly 8 years, the initial first day or two were very intense and we couldn't speak properly, since then we have spent the day with the kids which was a very joyful experience for us all, we are going to be spending my son's birthday together, she also suggested that we do an event again this year that we have done every year as a family, now I get that none of those are just for us two, we have spoke on the phone for 15 mins at a time a few times, we also text aswell but they are mainly about the kids altho she does use smily emojis in some messages. She isn't sure if she misses me and at one point she said she cares for me and loves me as the father of her children. I am in limbo at the moment, I want to continue to spend time with her and my children but I also want to know if anything else is going to come from it or should I just move on and find a new happiness. Our general interactions are positive with smiles and hellos etc they don't feel awkward.
