Definitely agree about using a wet vac. Even for bleeding radiators it saves water damage and spills. I have used mine whilst cutting into ‘drained down’ pipes that weren’t fully dry and for making sure radiators were empty. My tip for radiators is to invert them quickly when removing them. They can then be carried through a house without fear of dripping and then flushed through outside

Yep absolutely agreed! I’ve seen some caps or bungs you can shove in the holes to stop drips, but I haven’t actually tried them yet. Thanks for watching!

Really good advice and tips. The knipex wrenches look the part - I think they could be useful for my vehicle work too.

The way to tell if a piece of kitchen roll has any water on it is to look and feel if it's wet. If it looks wet and feels wet, then it's wet.

If you’ve got a very slow leak on a compression fitting, it’s not always the easiest to see or feel on white roll

Great video buddy. Some good advice. Those Knipex are pricy though 😳 Is that your plastering work behind you? Or do you sub that work out?

Thank you! Yeah the Knipex are expensive, but worth it if you’ll use them regularly, and German so should last a lifetime. Plastering is the one thing I get a guy in for, I’ve tried it in the past, but so hard to get a nice finish without a lot of practice. Thanks for watching!
