Bro litterly every game like is like that in silver. 3 people instalock duelists yell at me to play sage or a smoker and then proceed to not do shit except bait people... Like holy fucking shit why do these morons even play the game
If you start losing lots of comp games it's okay! I got placed at gold 3 and dropped to gold 2 after and 3 losses, but I really wanted plat and kept playing and after 3 days I got into plat! The ranks mean nothing if you want to focus on getting better, but if you feel as though you are already good enough they can be a great incentive to push :) (This was a reply on another comment, just reposted as other may find it useful)
QOTD: Yea, as I know not every teammate is the same as the next one, im often thinking if I should bother being competitive or get better on unrated first :/

@@caiwitt5456 same exact thing happened to me. I placed gold 3 (due to a really crappy last loss in placement) and after like 2 or 3 bad teamaate soloq games later bam gold 2. Now I need to grind just to get to silly plat 1
Yashansh Yeah it’s true. I saw my Raze made 22/2 in last match cause 1 she was a lot practicing FPS, 2 camping mostly and enemy didn’t know what to do. And me in this match was like I just got nothing to do, first time.
Yeah I started playing csgo in February of this year and then started playing valorant when the beta came out but took a break. When I got my rank I was bronze but I’m getting way better ever match I play and am consistently getting team or match mvp with 25+ kills. Hopefully soon I get out of bronze but I think playing comp is the only way to truly get better at the game.
QOTD: not really, I always duo/trio queue, and I’m usually the carry of the team, but sometimes those 2-3 ransoms don’t listen at all, and dc a lot. I’ve once had 3 dcs, which is enough to get an awp each rounds.
Solo q sucks in this game cuz all the time my team is silent af and won't give any info and would just rush in def without no plan and die and make me the last player alive and I die cuz I'm not that good to win a 1v5 or 1v4 and I end losing all the time and idk how my rank is not getting demoted after all those lost game like I have so many close ones im sad no one plays with me maybe I'm trash but still I try my best at least to think and play
QOTD: A bit, but only with solo queue. I always play ranked if I play, and it’s almost always with at least one premade. Unrated feels like a waste of time to me.
I am Brim and Cypher main. Usually I have to push first cause my duelists are trash and don’t understand their play style. Ya, as a support I turn out to be my team top frag
Yeah i play Omen a lot. Most of my teammates dont like it to play Omen passive like me sometimes. I learn a lot Spots for Omen to smoke or teleport for More Information. I am 5-0 unranked yet. I am excited which rank is the choosen for me.
Fraggers not performing well is a huge struggle ngl. I remember in my placements my team picked a four frag comp and no one is having a positive KD. I feel like I should use some of the league mechanics and dodge the game with shitty comp which provides no utilities.
I have the same prob sometimes I'll top frag as cypher and sometimes with sage but in some games my team would be so good that they would just kill everyone before I even get to rotate and I end up bottom fragging and sometimes the enemy will be so organised compared to mine who does not give any info or communicate
I got a ranked anxiety a little. Now I’m in Bronze 2. After 5 matches which where to rank me I got AFKs on ranked. One match was 3v5. I’ll have more anxieties by practicing for longer time. Now I’m month in FPS and I’m barely daily practicing shooting and in matches. It will be hard when people AFKs once per two matches and hating people with bad aim. I found a weapon for myself - it’s Phantom, which is a lot better than Vandal. That got better spray, but it’s stealth makes better also. Sadly on longer range which I love to fight on it’s more problematic. Vandal one shot feels great, but I asked to myself “What’s sense of Vandal when I didn’t played FPS before and I need to train many hours on range and matches?”. Phantom is easier, I saw that in one match I got 22/14 or something like that in that that easy normal match.
QOTD: Yes everytime and in every game. I don't know why but I seem to have a coded anxiety within me when playing ranked mode in general (Both when I solo queue or with friends ). But most of the time I also get excitement on how the game will play out
QOTD: i got that anxiety beacuse if i play with my friends i'm so worried that my friends gonna blame me and the worst part is gonna leave me out... and that's why i like SoloQ.
I don’t have rank anxiety, BUT, the game’s, CS:Gos too, rank systems are I think bad. You win with less kills: Slıghtly, win with high kills: Greatly. But when you rank up: for example: Silver1 to Silver2, and lose, you instantly go back to Silver 1 and should rank up again. AND, if your rank didn’t selected to a high rank in the beginning, it’s so hard to rank up. BECAUSE, I win or lose doesn’t matter, generally finish my matches in 1st or 2nd place in my team. But, still Silver 1...
QOTD: the only reason i get ranked anxiety is because im anxious of matchmaking. everytime i play i feel like i get the people who are too passive, losing 1v1s, etc.
For the first tip about agressive playstyle, i highly recommend a video by Sinatraa on haven where he plays phoenix, and his agressive entry style is obvious and easy to replicate
as sage I almost always use my wall to block enemy sights and take the ult orbs. It slows down enemy pushes and they'll have to shoot the wall, alerting me to their presence
plus the placement 5 games are based on unrated mmr when i first played my placements i landed on plat 2 and got to diamond 1 right away, if you're good in unrated before you have access in placements you'll land on a good rank based on your skill
1st tip: Be more aggressive Me: Enter any room and die instantly to an operator, or from two people camping two separate angles and watching the entry point I got placed into a primarily gold match once during rank determination. I ended up going 0-16 with almost every death (at least 12 of them) being from a running Vandal headshot. I've accepted my low rank for life.
Watch out for the enemies econ if they can afford an operator its best for u to play less aggressively or just bait out the first shot by shoulder peeking and then peek again to get that headshot on them. And thats exactly why controller is crucial in any matches because they block out enemy's vision. Only rush when your team has obstruct most of the enemy's vision and don't forget to check corners when youre securing the bomb site because ur opponents can be hiding anywhere. GLHF.
yo! That's fine man, we've all started somewhere. If you really want to improve , atleast a bit. Just watch some higher rank players, watching pro players on RU-vid play can really help you, it helped me when I was getting into csgo. Watching how they react in clutch situations, how they aim, and the way they play is a really good idea to improve.
I like Sova and I got contract on Cypher. I like Raze cause it’s so bombastic, but I don’t really know how to play her, I mean I know, but I play with her bad. I prefer seeing enemy and attack or defend and see if it isn’t coming a huge push with 5. Controllers like Brichstone are great too. I have to make Jax (sorry but it’s a real Jax from LoL), Viper and Cypher. Next is a Reyna skin, and next Cypher ghost. They’re looking pretty cool. I’ll be so much happy with having prime Vandal and Classic. I don’t really play Vandal, but they could make Phantom too.
QOTD: No, i'm used to rank in lol so val isn't a problem to me, i'm usually more worried to have teammates who don't listen to the voice chat or don't know the mechanics yet. I'm from LAS so this kind of videos are not well known
QOTD: Yes, I'm scared of letting people down, I worry about doing very bad in front of friends and being a dead weight to them, I love playing ranked but i am just scared to do it.
i would usually use phoenix's ult to clear out site and get enemy positions on attack. on defense, i would use phoenix's ult to get positions and clear 1-2 attackers.
Sorry to break it to you but if u cant handle the pressure you cant go pro. Just imagine how difficult it is, if you cant handle the pressure of your 4teammates counting on you, when you do go pro and have thousands of fans counting on you to do well But im sure if you just practice constantly, youll get used to the pressure and not be too distracted by it
QOTD: I'm actually anxious everytime I queue for ranked, cuz I know 5 minutes in I'm already an easy target since my playstyle is more of slow, focused, and tactical than aggressive and fast... Unrated gives me more confidence and I actually end up with a killing spree even ended up being the MVP 2 times now... but ranked makes me small... as if I get weaker and my rivals become 10 times more stronger and more aggressive, last time in ranked I only had 9 kills and 16 deaths, add those toxic players that trashtalks me cuz I struggle with clutch matches at ranked when they themselves have died before I did... so now I'm just dominating in Unrated and just leaving my rank to where it is, Iron I, I suck don't I... but my skills in Unrated proves different otherwise
QOTD: Yes, ever since i played LoL, it's an enormous disadvantage for me, my is at above average, but i tremble if im in rank. I don't know how to cope up with it.
Yes i have ranked anxiety. I am terrified of losing and deranking, and tilt basically every time i lose, which sucks. I do not think i am too bad to play ranked at all though.
QOTD: Honestly, I switch on and off. Competitive can feel like a multitude of things, but it's often in line with how I've been doing in other gamemodes. If my team has been getting wrecked in Unrated, I always take it personally, like I was the one who brought us down, and as a result, I don't want to hop into competitive for fear of ruin everyone else's experience. On the other hand, if I've been doing well, I generally keep that mentality through whatever I'm playing, and I try and help as much as I can, and if my teammates aren't doing or feeling so well, I do whatever I can to help.
Best way to hit diamond is to be good enough to get there. A bronze isn’t gonna watch this then suddenly become diamond. It’s all about good aim and game sense. Comes with practicing and using your brain
QOTD: I HAVE HUGE RANKED ANXIETY!!! I placed Plat 1 which I am pretty proud of especially since I didn't play CS:GO and this is the 2nd FPS I've played. My issue is, I won 5/5 of my placements, the first game I went into after placements, I was with all Golds and honestly think some of them should have been placed a lot lower. Bad crosshair placement, no awareness and 2 went afk (ragequit) after the 5th round. Why would I want to lose my rank because others have anger issues or got placed where they shouldn't be. (Mind you, in saying this I am aware that I'm not a god and I definitely have areas to improve on as well, but it's quite evident that placements put people where they shouldn't be)
QOTD: Yes, I get extremely pressured when I play ranked. I do decently well during spike rush warm ups, but the moment I enter a ranked game, I start shaking like crazy.
QOTD: Yes i do have ranked anxiety. I would play comp with friends but I’m only being a burden to them. I’m just happy that they are actually encouraging me to ranked with them and learn as I play. However I am acared to play ranked alone. I did for my placements just to see where I would place, and surprisingly, I got silver 1. I expected to get Iron. Hahaha Valorant is my first tactical shooter, I come from League and Apex hehehe.
QOTD: more than ranked anxiety I have to awareness that I suck, but I'm fine with that. For one, I've established that I will not devote my life to become a good player in any game, especially not Valorant. Second reason is that I've played hundreds of ranked matches on other games and I realized that as long as your skill matches your MMR, you don't have to be worried about not being good enough.
For everyone in the comment sections one thing you gotta learn is that your in a certain rank for a reason you can’t say that it’s your teammates fault if your bottom fraggingif you were better than the rank you are in you should be a high rank ( this is comin from a high diamond player near immortal)
QOTD: Yes. Only because I'm scared my teammates can not do well. And often times they dont. So as a result I've stopped playing ranked until I can either 4 stack or 5 stack. Luckily we're working on it
I have this problem where I win like two games in iron 1 then I'm confident that if I win next game im on my way to iron 2 but then I get such a troll team and lose. I will never leave iron 1 😭😭😭
