Not really but yes too it's not abandonment they think they can always replace u n make a fake facade to do so. Means nothing to them so they will usually keep 1 for all those reasons someone to convince cuz they need things not want u to live up this perfect life
@@rosannaburt3048Abandonment and rejection issues can also be the result of undiagnosed/untreated CPTSD. I come across so many of these videos, and really question the real intent behind them. Because I sometimes find, that it be the true narcissist, who is playing the reverse-psychology game, by accusing others of being a narcissist.
@@rosannaburt3048where borderline and covert narcissism have some overlaps in the abandonment. Also one sometimes gets mistaken for the other. _Real_ grandiose narcissists don't care a bit, I'm sure. Well, maybe some for the disobedience. That's why in the end it doesn't matter which label is actually appropriate. But you're right, of course. So let's just call them toxics.

Absolutely! After 20+ years of being married to a covert narcissist, I absolutely agree. I couldn't explain or understand a lot of his character traits until one day I picked up a book out of curiosity, just to discover, that it was like a description of my marriage.
Always trying to act like me, copy everything. I started switching one day😅😅😅cause I knew she was looking at me,;while 🚶. The next day she came walking 🚶 out the drive way switching😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅.
Yup, that’s exactly how it was in my last relationship. I see that now when someone is pulling that nonsense, I call them out of it. Whether it be a friend or my husband. We are all accountable for what we do and say. It affects people around us. I am done with the it’s all about the me attitude.

I said no to one 'narc' and she went nuts spreading rumors and gossip throughout our AA meetings. The other one dumped me, so I ignored her, three weeks later she ambushed me and started yelling at me, saying, "You have no idea who you are dealing with!" I really wasn't dealing anything, I accepted her dump and ignored her. What was I supposed to do, worship her?
Yes I agree, and I hate it. Can’t seem to understand that she mirrored me, but couldn’t learn from my good traits of forgiveness, accountability, humble, kind, thoughtful, and loving. I’ve tried to hate her, but I can’t. It just tells me I don’t have any mean intentions toward her, and that makes me mad at myself. I won’t take her back, and she won’t come back, and that’s a miserable acknowledgment to. It made me feel worthless, and I’m still fighting that.
Some of these fears are quite common fears like the fear of rejection and the fear of humiliation. This list is pretty bad tbh because it attributes normal human fears and behaviors that people who go through trauma experience to big bad narcissism, which only continues to cause harm and reinforces the stereotype that people who have mental health problems are bad and should be avoided. Not everyone who has some of these fears is a narcissist. It seems like narcissism is the new buzzword used by people to describe anyone you hate, and the ignorance perpetuated by these types of videos is creating more harm towards people with mental health problems who are being lumped in with the narcississts just because they share similar symptoms caused by their traumas.
I agree with this list. The person I’m done with was a platonic male friend. But geez I could never let him know when my feelings were hurt or any comment contrary to his thoughts. I understand this is the result of childhood trauma and that truly truly breaks my heart for anyone suffering from narcissism. I can chose to walk away and have. But they’re stuck with their own trauma. I think that’s truly sad.
Well, I def don’t pleasure in hurting anyone not even him. But it felt good to end things. I told him that it makes me sick to my stomach to realize I even let him touch me. Then I told him “I’m moving on with my life and to stay away from me, your supply from me is now ZERO.”
Perfectly described. I saw all of them and I grew afraid to be punished because the last one so I was always cautious with giving rejection and he ended gaining control over me.
I explained all of these things I saw in her, all listed here, years before I knew what a narcissist was. It's like WAKING UP when you absolutely realize that all these things you're dealing with ARE connected at the core, and you're not paranoid and connecting dots incorrectly as the gaslighting demon tries to convince you that you are. My favorite book was the Topsy Turvey Kingdom when I was a kid, it's like real life now.
I think that all of this makes sense. I mean, these are things that all humans really dislike and try to avoid. The difference is humility. Narcissists have NONE! The rest of us understand that humility is necessary for growth and change. Narcissists NEVER even consider that they may need to change. They always feel that others should change to accommodate the narcissist.
I think that narcissists aim to instill their wounds in their victims, very specifically. They have a great chance in creating another in their image, or other personalities disorders if the person refuses to emulate completely. I think it's a communicable mental illness.
Describes my ex to a tee she was a complete control freak. The two things that pissed her off the most after she walked out was. 1 I never argued with her in the moment or got angry, 2 I moved 6 hours away.
My brother took advantage of our sick mom. He stole thousands from her. He also wanted her in a facility. I became her guardian to protect her and to take care of her. I see who his true self is, and he has been" outdone" by me. He is a coward because he has not shown his face.
Their behaviour causes them to be rejected. So the victim is actually victimized twice. Once by their behavior and the second time by their retaliation! What kind of 💩 is this? They need to be exposed and shut down immediately.
So sad it really is about shame.something really terrible must of happened to them.if only they knew not to get involved with people.they would be better off and so would others.
Is thus true for all of them, Covert, Overt and Vulnerable ones? I experienced this with a Covert or Vulnerable one. I don't know for sure what the difference is.
Thats a very good question! I’m wondering the same as well 🤔 .I’ve had the same experiences with the covert/vulnerable ones however I’m unsure if the Overt grandiose ones share the same fears
@deathuponusalll I hear you. I have attracted the Covert types or vulnerable. It would be nice to know if there is a difference between them. I would provide run from the overt type and they would be easier to spot because they are grandiose.
I know of one guy, whom is afraid of the police, as he is a convicted drug felon! He's the maintenance guy, where I live, never married and is 60 years old! I had enough of his BS, I reported him to a police officer, for physical, verbal and sexual assaults! The landlord is in for a rude awakening!
I dumped the malignant narcissist I was married to and filed for divorce I told him I will go to court and expose him for the cruelty he put me through for years and whatever happens to him I don't care he tried to call my phone several times he is blocked on everything gone no contact waiting on my divorce papers to severe ties with this demon
Sounds like my mother and ex that all had these traits but tried to paint it out to be me who’s the narc. So sick of these demons and mfs trying to test me when it’s the narc they should be testing it’s actually annoying
I must say that I have these fears too as a codependent raised by a narcisstic mother and 20 years if marriage.Does that mean that codependents are also narcissts? No I don't think so because we take accountability and I think we are mirroring them as you explained as survival mecanism.
