Thank you so much for this, I’m going into my sophomore year of high school (grade 10) I’ve really been wanting to move out of the US and move to Canada, and I’m worried that with student debt if I don’t move before university I’ll never be able to with how expensive the schools are here I know my parents don’t want me to go to any universities in Canada out of fear of how far away it is, how far I’ll be from any family members, and the fact that I’ll be in a completely different country by myself However I still want to go, especially after how much things have escalated here with the overturn of Roe v Wade and how divided everyone here is as a whole, thank you for helping me with some potential options I’ll definitely be looking into these

Very lovely and informative video. Would have loved to apply. However, application fees for Canadian schools cost a fortune. So painful! Some over 60k, 70k in naira just to apply. Sad!

On the contrary, Canada is issuing out more study visas and permits now compared to last year when many were denied. Still, it doesn’t hurt to put in a good application.

Hello, It depends on what is in the scholarship offer. If the scholarship covers your tuition, you will pay for your flight to go to Canada to start school. Canadian Immigration (IRCC) gives study permits and study visa to enter into Canada.

Hello Eunice, Quebec is a province in Canada that is predominantly French speaking. Have you looked into schools like: - Sherbrooke University - Universite de Laval - University of Montreal - University of Ottawa (this is in Ontario province but they do have a differential scholarship if you are fluent in French) Let me see if any of those have HRM programs and I’ll post the link under this comment
Thank you for this video Ada. My wife just graduated from medical school in Morocco. She's fluent in English and French, as she's grew up in Nigeria and had her university education in Morocco in purely French language. She wishes to go to Canada for her Masters in Public Health. Do you think her understanding of both English and French language will stand her a good chance, especially to schools in Quebec?

Yes, you can. Lot of undergraduate scholarships are based on merit (your high school or A level grades) and there are some you can apply for. Try University of Ottawa if their application cycle for September 2022 admission is still open.
Please am not quite clear about the "second entry professional undergraduate program" It is the same as direct entry I.e One completing his/her undergraduate degree program in another university, especially moving from 200level from your school to another. Thanks.

For some scholarships you have to apply for admission to the school first, e.g. McCall McBain scholarship, Mastercard Foundation Scholarship, etc. For some others, you can apply at the same time you are applying for admission. For some others, you can apply for scholarship separately, e.g. external or government scholarships. And then for some others, you are automatically considered for scholarship once you apply for admission so there is no separate application, e.g. merit-based scholarships like Concordia entrance awards, Calgary entrance awards, etc.

Is it true that scolarships are just given to stufents with the highest marks ! Because a lot of students have a really good level , they are just aren't lucky to have their BA or High school diploma with high marks
