Roughly half of my pick ups are still preparing the food…what I do is always use that link at the bottom that lets you inform dd why you are late , so it’s at least documented.

So you're saying not to say that you're there to pick it up until the orders done

@@StayPositive-sd8op no you confirm your at the restaurant when you arrive there's a column where you can notify a customer that the store is still preparing the food

Can’t get penalized for waiting for an order. Once you press order not ready yet, or still being prepared when you’ve arrived, it’s in the system. They even started sending you option to unsign without a penalty when they know it’s gonna be awhile.

Hello, yes they can add tip later or even tip you cash but those are rare. You normally get paid every week via direct deposit or you can use fast pay or use the dasher direct card to get paid right away. I have a full video on the red card, please watch that video. If the bag is sealed such as McDonald’s, it’s not your fault bc you couldn’t check it but if it’s from another store that doesn’t sealed up the food , it’s your responsibility to double check the app for drinks. When you decide to DD. What will you need? What are they providing? Hot bag, cool bag? What about a pizza carrier to keep it hot? Etc...

@@jillwiegand4257, hi they do not provide anything (besides the red card) but the only thing you need to buy is an insulated bag to keep food warm/cold. You can buy this at Walmart or anywhere which doesn’t cost too much. Hope this helps👍

I went to orientation and they gave it to me. I believe if you don’t have to go to orientation then they will send you the red card. The hot bag you will need to purchase it separately

Just activate the first one, but save the 2nd one at home just in case you need it later

After you pick up and press confirm pick up, the app will then tell you where to go to deliver it
