BEAUTIFUL WE WOULD RIDE THROUGH THI BEAUTIFUL BLUERIDGE MOUNTAINS DURING THE FALL IN VIRGINIA AND NORTH CAROLINA THANK YOU FOR THESE BEAUTIFUL PICTURES OF THE FALL ❤
Absolute heaven! My dad always took my mom, brother and me to the Smokies every year back in the 90s but we always went in the summer, we never experienced it in the fall. Now I badly want to!
Will be there in 6 days! Haven’t been in October in years!!!! It’s usually September and February as that’s when “break” is during my kids school year. See you soon Gatlinburg!
I love Tennessee especially in the fall miss it so much I’ve been a prisoner of Southern California since 1984 it’s so fricking dusty every single day if I could move I would in a minute but not well enough so sad oh well if you’ve never been there try to make it in the fall it’s worth it 👍🙏🏻😢
Perfect timing. Love the video and the recommendations. We are making our first visit ever to Knoxville the first weekend in November. Hoping we are able to catch some color, even if a little past peak.
We are going for the fist time the second week of November!!! Hopefully we get to see some of the places you mentioned and the beautiful fall foliage 🍁🍂
That is where we held hands, up there. She a native and I an out-lander. That era was totally romantic and careful. It was assumed a courtship was a prelude to permanence. We did 60 + years. Then cancer took her. We also assumed that we would go together, but now I can only remember her and wish her well. For a taste of the Cove before it was parkified, watch the movie A Walk in the Spring Rain.
Thanks, that was great. We are heading out tomorrow for Asheville/Pisgah area. Next year we may fly into Knoxville and this video would be really helpful! I’m an outdoor photographer and really liked some of your shots! Great work.
Awe-inspiring exhibitions of seasonal foliage, which had hardly been taken in by me even before the COVID-19 pandemic, because I'd had way too many irons in the fire every day ( which has almost nothing to do with making profits😁), and which now during the Corona era are much less soaked up, it is said, had traditionally brought in a huge profit for businesses in New York’s North Country before the outbreak of COVID-19. And now after two years of economic damage caused by the pandemic, the north country's businesses will let out a whoop of wild excitement; in November, fully vaccinated Canadians, their reliable visitors, would go back to that part of United States for foliage-viewing and indulging themselves in exciting shopping on big sale (again it has nothing to do with me.😆 I am not Canadian and not very big on foliage-viewing. It'd simply leave me just feeling tired).😏 But this video is amazing ! Thank you. I would rather lean toward your online foliage -seeing ..
Beautiful!! Never been to the Smokies but my husband and I are coming the first week in November! When is the peak for fall colors expected this year (2022)?
The big problem is finding a place to stay overnight. We went driving looking at the foliage but noone had room in the inn so we drove all the way back home arriving in wee hours of the morning.
Typically late October you start to see a great medley of color…Late September I’m not sure, but maybe a little shifting in the upper elevations. Hope its a great trip!!🍁
Hi Jeff! Thanks for commenting! Yes there is... Check our scenic drive along videos found on our channel, we ride by a few of them along both the East & West sections of the Foothills Parkway. You can get a glimpse of a few of them. I believe there are many more though!
Theres really not a set time and has more to do with temperature, moisture levels and amount of sunlight they get…but this timeframe, oct-nov is close to when it typically happens in smokies but always varies. As the days get shorter its more prone to peak out because the leaves get less sun and quickens their transformation. (Thats the unscientific quick perspective😂🍁)
@@QuestCapsule heading there from Florida Oct. 17th. Been in the area many times over the years but mostly in summer. Only been there in fall a couple times.
Late September is still a wee bit early but higher elevations tend to shift earlier so you never know. Peak period tends to be late October to early November typically. Thanks!🍁🍁🍁
