You know what, my father is this kind of person always uses me, by saying you have to listen to me what I say and saying I came to this duniya first who are you to tell me. He didn't allow me to study what I want, not even allowing me to work, saying that everything is here in family business but even in my family business if I work I won't get anything if I ask him I need some money he'll give mental torchure then throw the money on the floor and at last I asked Allah to give me death, but I fell and broke my both wrist joint and now, I'll never work again, now I'll only dedicate my life to Allah until I live,
Talk to your father openly and respectfully, and tell him how you feel, how it is draining you emotionally, seek Allah's guidance through the Quran, and don't neglect your prayers. Nothing remains the same. Attitudes change. May Allah make it easy for you and for the entire ummah (A'meen) ُقَلِّبُ اللّٰهُ الَّيۡلَ وَالنَّهَارَ ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَعِبۡرَةً لِّاُولِى الۡاَبۡصَارِ It is Allah who alternates the night and the day: verily in these things is an instructive example for those who have vision!
Thank you for sharing your deeply personal and painful experience. It's heart-wrenching to hear about the challenges you’ve faced. Islam teaches us to respect our parents, but it also recognizes the importance of justice and personal well-being.
