You can technically. You just have to wait for the notification to appear and then you can block them as long as Bluetooth is turned on and your watch is paired with your phone
Can you clarify that we have to restore and backup which data? On our iPhone? Would pairing cause even a remote chance of messing up the data on my phone?

Is this only if they're paired by blue tooth? For ppl with Tmobile who have digits it seems like it should still work since I can leave the house without my phone and still use my galaxy watch

You will miss most of the apps in iPhone, map navigation,Uber, Don’t use Samsung watch for iPhone, I’m facing the same problem, now I’m changing to Samsung from iPhone.
Were you able to set up the mobile plan through the watch or the iPhone app? Mine says "Your watch doesn't support plans from T-Mobile right now. We'll send you a notification when it does."
@@RG-rw5po That's what it said. I have a Samsung phone/ ordered one for my wife, She has an Apple phone. Samsung phones are back ordered . Hopefully they will work together. She tried to set up the watch with her phone. They did misinform us from T mobile though. SMH
I'd change the headline to 7 Major reasons to buy a Samsung phone. Lol. At least you'll get more than 15 hours battery life with AOD turned on, as my brother discovered on his Apple Watch 5 that he returned to get this one while trading in his iPhone 7 for an S10 plus 5g. At last, after 6 years of iPhones he has seen the light! 😉
I have the first edition and every time i send images content to the watch from the iphone but the quality is very bad compared by transferring it from Samsung device is way better
Hi.. I am able to pair my iphone 11 with galaxy watch active 2 . Could able to receive notifications from incoming calls n normal text messages.. but not from my wats app n other social messaging platforms.. i have also checked in blocked tab .. but of no use.. Could u help me out ..? Thanks
BTW is that Android Phone a Galaxy phone or an Android phone from another brand? Would you do a similar video describing what you lose in that case? Ta!
Good question. Initially I was also worried about the same, but since Android is similar in both cases, it really doesn't matter which brand you are using when it comes to an Android device. For instance, you can use a oneplus device with an active 2 and it will work exactly the same as a Samsung phone. Although, the reason for not working fine with Apple is that the iOS and Android are two different mobile OS's, hence a lot of compatibility issues.
@@yourcitymate656 NO it wont work the same way as Samsung Android phone it will also loses some features like messages you must have a Samsung phone to fully benefit from the active 2 watch. Ps: I used a Nokia phone with Android OS.
I understand all, and i liked this watch but what i dont understand is why do I lose my style watch face when pairing with an iPhone. I dont think there is a reason for this, samsung should fix it
@@denisdelzart6294 Hello denis, this was happening to me as well. you need to connect via bluetooth also to samsung galaxy watch active 2 LE bluetooth device :-) so you should be connected to two very similar bluetooth devices
I configured it with ios everything works but I don't see notifications or emails or whatsapp. I know they can't be answered but I don't even see them. How can I configure it?
I think the only thing you can't do with an Iphone is reply to messages. Other things can be done by Active 2 connected to the Iphone. What still can't be done?
Fehad Bilgrami if you just want a smart watch for the faces then get the samsung watch. Samsung watch design look like a real watch and there’s alot more watch faces on the samsung watch. Apple watch function better to me tho and it has a better user expirience and more polished apps and the os is far superior to me.The only real problem with apple watch was the battery life was terrible and it’s expensive.
