Did you know that spilling coffee on yourself might make you more likable? ☕😯
People are attracted to imperfections-it’s called the Pratfall effect. We’re more inclined to trust people who aren’t afraid to show their flaws.
And that’s just one of many insights from behavioral science that smart marketers can apply to drive more conversions.
You don’t need a psychology degree to put this stuff to work. The research has already been done. 🧠
A few tweaks here to your marketing can have a huge impact on your results.
Our guest on this webinar is Phill Agnew, a Senior Product Marketer at Buffer and host of Nudge, the UK’s most popular marketing podcast.
Phill will walk you through some simple, science-backed techniques to take your marketing from meh to memorable-and boost your conversions.

I feel like there is an important aspect to all the examples of highlighting negativity that Phill doesn't emphasize enough - they are all really funny. Even in his own experiment, the copy in the "negative" ad is way more compelling because it's humorous. Great webinar, really enjoyed it. Very informative.

Great point! It can be tough to get the dose and tone of humor right, but we 100% agree with you that incorporating it is a great strategy.
