This video contains two exercises that focus on developing good breath management and balanced onset. Both exercises are sung on the first 5 note of a minor scale; singers can think of the pattern as either mi-re-do-ti-la or sol-fa-me-re-do. The first exercise ranges from A3-E5 and the second exercise ranges from A3-G5. Male voices should sing an octave lower.
Make sure to sing though both exercises entirely in order to see the benefits. Be patient as it takes time for the voice to warm up properly!
