Hi, I'm on day 4 and my voice is deteriorating. Instead, earlier I could still sing reasonably high, but now I can't do it anymore and my voice hurts too. I'm not sick either, it will improve!?
If you’ve never taken voice lessons before, you may not know that this incredibly kind woman is giving everyone at least 3 months of free training in this one video. At $80 to $200.00 (and up,) this is an unbelievable value. I lost my voice to allergies, after moving to a different state. I thought I would go back to vocal exercises & hopefully retrain & rehabilitate my voice. Stumbling upon this video, which I clicked on because I felt in my gut she would be relatable. I was right. I used to sing very nicely, I don’t know what happened to my voice, and I have been discouraged, and also lacked confidence in my singing talent. I almost gave up, but when I met this video as I began to exercise as she instruct, my voice transformed in just a minute I feel my throat is so light and I’m so excited. I don’t know how to express it. Thank you so much!
Start hamming and feel the vibration all over your body close your eyes when you do it and start looking inside till you find it again. I do this when I was young whenever I'm afraid because I'm always afraid of people and ended up losing my voice everytime I speak. So I sat in the corner dark and shady to do this I find it effective. And every word and every lyrics in my mind instead of saying it I hammed instead.
I used to hate my voice. I did a lot of things to help me change my perspective. You just have to make a decision. Even popular singers, there are people who dislike their voice. It's a decision. And you stay with it.
WTF. She's better than most autotune junkies coming out nowadays. Also, the warm up instantly helped me relax my singing muscles. No way this course is for free. Anything like this will cost you a good sum. Thank you so much for this.
One of my biggest problems is embarrassment when singing, and really struggling to open up, and doing the exercises, but this has really helped me a lot, to have fun with practicing and not feel as bad, and just enjoy the journey of getting better.
It helps me to wear a big hat. A lot of stars wore sunglasses because they feel shielded. Find something that helps you feel safe, could be a big coat, a scarf, experiment with lighting. Curtains and rugs can help ground you. Being in a big open area can feel scary. This has helped me. Good luck on your journey.
I can't remember who, but when I first started singing, someone said, " dont be afraid to look or sound silly". Thats always stuck with me and every now and then I do stuff up on the karaoke stage, I just recover the best I can, understanding its normal to make mistakes or hit a key wrong and know its a part of my vocal journey, good or bad.😊
This is an awesome 7 Day mini-course. But I cheated a little bit; I went through all 7 days in one sitting. I like that she uses an actual song to do the exercises.
I am 84 years old. I started getting coaching February 2019. I started as a good bass baritone. I now have as good a vocal quality as anyone I have ever heard with my chest voice going up to G5 (actually only slide to E5 with F5 on a very good day). I did not know that my falsetto went to B7. I am practicing Ave Maria by Dimash (high note F#6) and suddenly have a strong falsetto (took over a year) and better tone quality than Dimash. My control is limited as I go above about D6 so I keep practicing. When I fool around and sing up there people say wow. The coaching is very useful (3 days a week 1 hour, 1/2 hour exercises and then sing a song(s). Latest song is Maria from west side story (high note B5). My coach has showed me how to work all the notes to show the emotion (very difficult, very beautiful song) and says since I can not consistently belt B5 I should sing a lower key. I like this song as a wonderful exercise in learning to control my high pitched notes (should be able to belt to a least E5).

This is amazing. I've been singing while listening to my favorite songs for fun since I was a child. I never lacked confidence but I always lacked skill. I was never ashamed but I've been told I'm not good which I already knew, so I thought I might as well watch some videos on RU-vid and make it a hobby. The changes are unbelievable. I've been humming and doing funny sounds for three days and now I can feel that my voice is closer to the original songs. Feels like some kind of magic. Thank you so much, it's really fun!

I think by far the most helpful thing about this lesson compared to other lessons that I found on yt is that everything is done through a song, this helps so much ty for this video. Can't wait to improve further as I'm already seeing major improvements.

Wow. I had private voice training when I was much younger and they taught almost none of this. As a singer/songwriter I have struggled with conveying true emotion into my voice and no one I asked to help me really knew what I was talking about. But you sure do. Wonderful lesson!

Maybe I was just ready to hear this trainer, I don't know, but a half hour later, I had found my voice, and most of all, why I want to sing, and that is believing in what I'm singing.

What I like about my voice: I like that I have a voice! And I actually found a karaoke video and recorded the whole video. I used to hate my voice and would never have recorded myself and definitely not to listen to it! What I don't like about my voice: nothing. I was totally out of tune, I can't do all the notes. There are improvements to be made but I like my voice anyway! Thank you for lesson 1. I'm tearing up thinking how far I have come to appreciate my voice! I'm unexpectedly emotional right now.

Your video was incredibly valuable to me. I began playing guitar and singing in college, but then life happened! I’ve played and sang off and on for many years, but mostly off for the last 15 or so. This last June I determined to get the guitar out of the closet, and start playing and singing again. A few months ago our church had a need for another member of our worship team and I was asked to join. As I am polishing up my guitar skills, I want to also improve my vocal skill as well. I sat down tonight with this video and went through the whole thing, recording a baseline at the beginning, and a recording after each session. I saw improvement each time, but when I recorded myself after your last last lesson on putting feeling into it I was amazed at the difference! Before I sang the last version I thought back to college when I was singing at a coffeehouse, and my future wife was in the audience, and I was singing My Sweet Lady by John Denver to her. That was about 47 years ago! You are a great teacher! I subscribed to your channel tonight, and will be watching other videos in the days ahead. Thank you!
