I'd love to get my blood checked regularly but in Canada I feel like doctors are actively trying to deter people from getting any sort of regular check-up unless they have a pressing issue. If I'm not showing serious symptoms of an illness they always tell me to just keep an eye on things and only call if there is an issue. I appreciate the content geared towards people in their 30s. I just started taking health and fitness seriously last year, so these kinds of videos are perfect!

Hey Adam, I'm glad that you found this content useful! What you're describing is quite commonly seen in healthcare when the state is fully or partially funding healthcare. I can speak for our Canadian clients and UK clients when I say this, in order to be 'proactive' rather than 'reactive' when it comes to your state of health unfortunately you need to self fund getting blood tests done. It is absolutely worth it though so you can get a good picture of your current state of health.

So I do push-ups till my form breaks down and kettlebell clean and press 3x a day I was wondering if there’s anything you’d suggest I add to that routine. Loved the tips by the way, will definitely prioritize getting a full nights sleep

I would add a structured resistance training plan. Pushups and kettlebell clean and press, whilst effective exercises with minimal equipment - are unlikely to be heavy enough for the muscle growth you’re after

I get a yearly health check through my job that covers glucose, weight biometrics, grip strength, blood pressure, and cholestrol levels. Do you think this is sufficient in your 30s or would you want more broad testing?

Sounds like a fairly thorough health screening although for most of our clients, I suggest getting a full hormone profile completed also.
