even my 4yo when i am tough on him, even when he was in wrong he'll tell me "mummy be nice", then im taken aback...... we should surely treat each other with some empathy, regardless of gender as we we're all created in God's image.

I disagree with the narrative that you can’t have it all. Men never make the mistake of thinking that just your presence is the most important thing. Without providing, you will be undermined and disrespected. Just go and work. Men your value lies in what you contribute to humanity.

@lejaleja-com, your assertion that Men’s value lies in what they contribute to society is not only misleading but is unrealistic , inauthentic and quite frankly unbiblical mainstream thinking. A man’s value must never be in what he can provide or contribute but in the one that gives him the ability to contribute. That is what any authentic Christian should be pursuing and pushing for. The world has for too long pushed that godless narrative of finding our worth in things down our proverbial thoughts and to no effect. Men have gotten worse in trying to pursue it.
To think that men’s value lies within what they contribute is utterly deplorable, wildly inaccurate and completely unbiblical! It is a godless notion to reduce all that Man is to mere tasks and mundane duty. It is narrow minded to think him as nothing more. Also,The narrative that you can have it all is what is naively considered mainstream thought but is unfortunately riddled with inane high headed immoral ideals. Paul calls this kind of haughty teaching “ doctrines from demons”. If you claim to be a Christian , I implore you to remove yourself from this kind of mainstream teaching especially if it is in Church circles. May we call men back into the Image God designed them to reflect .
