I went recently and dont forget when exiting the factory on the left there will be gatchapons that are limited only to gundam FUKUOKA and Gundam base YOKOHAMA. theres gatchapon premium gatcha for the nu gundam ff and nu gundam ff head piece
My tip would be go around 2pm to catch the noon show, followed by the dock viewing at 3pm. Visit the gundam base, factory lab and cafe till 5pm. You will get to see the sunset on the gundam, and the light show at 6pm.
Biggest mistake I made when visiting this year was assuming they would have stock of all the exclusive kits being offered. They didn't have the 1/48 Gundam, just the 1/48 Head. Ended up buying the full kit for a premium on eBay after my trip.
I went yolo during my last visit (april this year) and bought the 1/48 rx78f00! that thing is huge and barely fits in my luggage, but that was satisfying. I also bought the HG rx78f00 high mobility, at 01:55 I bought that one as keychain, and in fukuoka I bought the RG & SD nu ff (I was too fast by one day to buy the RG sazabi ff). I bought in total 21 kits in total during my visit, I need to ask my wife to carry half of it lol (I cut most of the kits into pieces and put it in zipper bag and label it per runner)
When I went there for my 20th Birthday in October of this year, I was hoping that the store would have the Chocgokin exclusive rx-78f00, yet they did not have any at all...

The two mistakes I made where not buying the dock ticket in advance and not getting any gatchapons at the station, everything else I did right according to your video. I'm going to Japan again next month but I don't think I'll be going to Yokohama this time, so I'm glad I saw the moving gundam while it was still there, although considering the investment they made on it, they'll probably just relocate it somewhere else
I went back during April and I knew that the tickets were selling out very fast for access to the Dock. When I went, there were many many items that were sold out. I already hadthe bust but the only Factory exclusive kit I could really get was the HG F00 HMT. This was during the height of the Gunpla shortage in Japan. I considered getting a later access ticket so that I could see the Gundam during the day and at dusk/night for that golden hour lighting. I don't feel too bad about the Gashapon as many of the secondhand and hobby stores will have those as sets.
thanks for the enlightening video. good effort only managing to catch that few glimpses of the gunpla inside the store. and that last bonus tip - man...do i have to...but i can fully understand it. will most probably take many picture and videos of it before taking it out of the box and flattening it. the gundam dock is standing on the ground infront of the moving gundam right? not going up and close to it right? cause i'm not planning to go up & close to it. also even if i not manage to get the gundam dock (assuming it's the one on the floor), i can still view it from a distance right?
@@AwesomeToysTV i'm going there early March. anyway, saw another video. 1650 Yen can sit/stand infront of the Gundam. the 3300 Yen is going up the Tower, which i don't intend do. Cheers.
Wait so you can’t buy multiple kits of the same kit but can you buy more than one kit if they’re all different? I’m leaving to Japan tmrw so please let me know!
