We moved out to our cabin in the woods 3 years ago & every time fall comes around we forget just how much work it is to winterize the cabin for the harsh Canadian winter that's ahead. So, we get to work installing windows, putting our docks away, chopping firewood, and trying to sneak in some R&R for 30-week pregnant Bec. Would you live at our cabin in the Canadian winter?

It's evident you're ready to be parents, in my opinion, because Bec feels free to cry and laugh and be vulnerable, while Eamon takes it in stride, unfazed. Kudos to both of you for being your whole selves with each other.

As a 45 year old mother of 4 (ages 10 yrs old to 26 yrs old 😆) When Bec was cry laughing about being caught eating cereal on the couch, my eyes filled with tears and I burst out with laughter because I felt like I related with her on a level only mothers can fully relate on! 🤣❤️🤣❤️🤣❤️ My fav part of the video so far! 🥰

Never feel bad for complaining during pregnancy Bec! Its literally one of the hardest things you will ever do, you are growing a human inside you!!! Its magical and the end is so worth every second but man its hard at times❤ I cant wait to see you and Eamon in this next chapter, your going to be amazing parents 💜🤩

Came here to say the same thing! I had a super healthy pregnancy and shouldn't have complained....but dang it's hard on your body! Seeing my toddler now...I'm in awe that my body MADE HER. It's miraculous and beautiful...and hard. Ride the waves of these final weeks!

I think bec is very considerate, in a way that she knows there are alot of women that would do anything to be pregnant and can not be. So she may feel bad complaining when other ppl are fighting to feel the way she feels. However I believe she still deserves the right to say what hurts and eat cereal and take breaks. I just think she maybe doesn't want to offend anyone that might be having a hard time conceiving. But you do deserve to complain all you want. However I'm sure their are ppl who appreciate her thoughtfulness and kindness.

My dad writes on everything around the house I grew up in, goofy little saying and marking things with letters and numbers like Eamon did here. 5:06 it does look silly in the moment, but now that my dad is older and terminally ill, when I visit my parents house and see the writing it makes me happy ♥️ Eamon writing that little A made me smile so big.

Bec, when I was pregnant, I had the absolute worst pain in my back. From my shoulders all the way down. The minute I delivered- the pain was gone!! Doc said the baby was sitting on a nerve. I literally said, “ OMG THE PAIN IS GONE!” Before I said “ awww my sweet baby girl”. 😂 I hope this is the case for you. Pregnancy comes with many things, but the best is the love you feel when you hold your child for the first time. Every ache and pain is worth it. ♥️

I know RU-vid to some people can just feel like just watching TV or something to pass the time. But to me a channel like yours makes me feel like im watching my friends lives that I can't be there to see in person. Watching you both over these years has brought all the feelings of joy, laughs, warmth and sadness sometimes especially when you both are going through hard times. I’m so excited for this new chapter for you guys. As I’ve said before both of my boys were going through their cancer , radiation and chemotherapy journeys at the same time. One of my sons is cancer free at the moment which makes me so happy. Unfortunately my youngest son’s health has taken a turn for the worst and I’m very scared he’s not going to make it 😢 I would be so grateful to you and your fans to keep him in your thoughts and prayers for me. I just lost my step dad and I can’t handle the thought of losing my son too.

I hadn't thought about it before but 7-9 months pregnant and 70 year olds have several things in common. I've experienced both. There are aches and pains, less mobility, fatigue, a big belly and all of the problems that brings like trouble getting up if sitting on the floor and tying your shoes. You are practicing how to act when you're old.

I think I did and said everything that Bec said during my third trimester of pregnancy. I woke up in the middle of the night STARVING and would eat applesauce or cereal and snack constantly. I absolutely said 'I have no idea how I could possibly get any bigger.' My baby girl is almost 6 months old now. She is the light of our lives. But I still vividly remember how awkward and uncomfortable and just miserable the end of pregnancy was. You've got this!

When baby's here in the spring, you will be VERY glad you spent the time cleaning the boat before putting it away for the winter. We have a 7 month old, and there are definitely things we wished we'd gotten done before he got here, haha.

When you take the acrylic sheets down, use a grease pencil to write 1, 2, 3 etc. on them. Then decide which window is 1 and that's where you start next year, either clockwise or counter-clockwise around the house. The grease pencil will come off pretty easily. Also, be really careful with the antifreeze. It's sweet and dogs will lap it up, but it will destroy their kidneys. I lost a dog that way once. And yes, you need a bigger bowl.

Bec I love how you are just embracing the realities of your pregnancy. Eat, bathe, breathe, laugh, cry....lather rinse repeat! Do what you can and let Eamon help you. And can I say you have been just BEAUTIFUL as you have been getting bigger even if you say you feel awkward and strange. You have always had a joyful friendly look about you because of your pretty smile but the fullness in your face is giving you a whole new measure of warmth and calm. Started my Headspace journey this past summer and couldn't be happier. Had just gone through some major dental surgery and was struggling a bit. Actually was watching Kara and Nate episode and after seeing Nate talk about how he was skeptical (as was I) but that he really embraced it that I figured I'd give it a go. So thankful that I did. In addition to sending healing energy to my shoulder, yesterday I found this technique: raise your sore shoulder where it's stiff & hold it there, 30 seconds or longer then slowly release. The squeeze & release flushes the area and tells our body we prefer it to relax. It's been very helpful. You can also twist your head when lifting/squeezing to find other muscles that need worked. 👊❤

Bec we're due a few weeks apart and I completely feel you! I had this mental image of me being super strong and full of life when pregnant and most days I'm just doing my best to move and get my responsibilities done. I had actively wondered how you were going to maintain your usual finesse when heavily pregnant and it was soothing in a way to see even you-- active vibrant you-- were struggling too. Here is a tip to keep the Quebec garage roof from sagging from snow load too much. Use your “winch down straps” midway from peak to shoulder, lengthwise. I also live off grid out in the middle of nowhere. Everybody wants to come up in the nice weather, or when there’s snow so we can sit outside and have a fire, but nobody wants to come up when I’m closing everything up and getting ready for winter. My uncle lives on the Black River in Watertown NY in a cabin that is operated with a generator and a wood stove. I swear this man would survive the apocalypse. 😂 His land is absolutely gorgeous, but having lived in NC my entire life, I've never had to survive THAT kind of winter. I've only had to deal with crazy ice storms that happen once in a blue moon down here.

Loved seeing an update before winter begins! I used to live in North Dakota so we had some harsh winters too! I did enjoy the cozy things like a hot drink and a fire though and sweaters aren’t too bad to live in for awhile!

Coming from a girlie with chronic pain, I feel you Bec, you’re doing amazing though and it’ll all be worth it in the end! Don’t worry about complaining, sometimes it’s good to let it out and have a bit of a cry about it, even if it doesn’t change anything about the pain. You know you’re doing the best you can, even if it slows things down. I love you both so much and I’m so excited to see your new baby girl! 🥰 you both look amazing and so happy!

Wow getting ready for winter in Canada is no joke I live on the Gold Coast in Australia where it’s the opposite we have to get ready for the bush fires in summer. You two crack me up Bec’s laugh is so contagious and Eamon’s ability to make anything work is amazing and the way you treat Oso you can tell you are going to be fabulous parents! ♥️

There is a lot of work to do, but it is a lot of fun to see how you both take it in stride, even at 31 weeks. Even the little one that will be arriving soon is in the spirit. A big shout out to Bec for enjoying this epic journey her mind and body are going through right now, and for Eamon who is still doing everything he can to be the perfect support for Bec. I’ve watched yall for years but had to take a break (I was at the end of my cancer journey when Bec started hers and just wasn’t ready to go on that emotional rollercoaster again 😅) this is the first video I’ve seen pop up since then and INSTANTLY burst into happy tears seeing Becs pregnant belly and how healthy yall look!! ❤️❤️ all the love guys!
