The most truth of this entire video was the last 40 seconds "Have enough money" which is not a reality of many young people looking to take the leap.,

He should have said "what's enough money?" 2000, 4000, 20 000??

Struggling to enjoy Saigon. Lived in Da Nang for 6 months and now been here in Saigon for 10 days. Its half the quality but double the price. I just cant find a nice cafe at all. Theres more shops, bars cafes but none of them are that nice.

Hi, can you do a video about about legal process for "non native speakers"? Before, just my degree and CELTA would have been enough but now there's some legal thing stating we need a C1 certificate certificate? I'm from an English speaking country in the Caribbean and it's proving frustrating.

One thing I like to add that is, the English language literacy rate of locals is still miserably, appallingly low. I started visiting with using Oxford English-Viet pocket dictionary 20 years ago and later switched to google translator. Outside the big cities, many people still không hiểu tiếng anh and can't understand our accent.

If the guy is teaching English, he should know that he is going to Malaysia not Malaysian!!

My boy ninja teacher says you need a bachelor's to teach. But i call fake news. The bar tender didnt have a degree i assume. There are other youtubers who say people show up no degree and get a job in a day.
@thumtlnguyen3626
@thumtlnguyen3626 11 месяцев назад
It is not really fake. Some private English teaching centers hire teachers without a degree. His program guarantees a job after finishing his course so he wants to make sure it works that way.

This guy is full of sht. It's almost impossible to get 25 hours of teaching. Even though Vietnam is cheap, you still need quite a lot of money.
@davidpham1632

Wdym impossible to get 25hrs? Do they usually get more or less? Can you elaborate?
@EricaShady10171972
@EricaShady10171972 Год назад
it seems great. However those 25 hours are just teaching Lesson plans and meetings add another 20 . A total of 45 hours. Also, you guys are not "expats" You're immigrants in another country. Cuz when immigrants move here to the US they are called immigrants, not expats. And they are also expats of their countries
@scottisitt
@scottisitt Год назад
Immigrant implies a permanent move. Expat does not. If you are living in a country on a work visa, and you have to leave the country if/when that visa expires, you are an expat, not an immigrant. Edited to remove student visa. That would really be for an exchange student.

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing Karen

@@scottisitt The vast majority of "expats" in Vietnam are illegal immigrants who apply for new tourist visas every 4 weeks so they can continue working.
@ninja.teacher

Maybe 30 - 35 hours total including lesson planning. Definitely not 45 hours in most cases.

Perhaps English is not your native language. Allow me to assist if I may. While both terms describe people living in a country other than their original one, "expat" often has connotations of a temporary, professional, or higher socio-economic status move, while "immigrant" is a broader term describing a long-term or permanent relocation.
