These looks are a testament to spending your money with quality brands vs. H&M, Zara and other fast fashion companies. Love the fact that you're getting so much wear out of these garments that are 4-5+ years old!
#1 is it, man. All of it fits great, the blazer color is amazing and the cut is pretty great too, all the colors work nicely together, and I don't like chukkas in general but even those are perfect here.
Would like to see more videos like this... gives me outfit ideas... I have the same Everlane v-neck in black and wore it two days ago with the exact combination you had.
Look #3, the "bonobos" set, has a wonderfully creative color palette. Idk why but I have a tough time imagining what red/maroon/burgundy can fit with and this is it chief. Inspo material right there. I simply just love it. It clicks, it works, it's just great!
I think I appreciate the donugal wool sweater and the corduroy slacks the best. The pea coat is pretty awesome, too. I’m loving the chino’s! I had no idea that was a cut for men until I came across your channel. I’m going to have to nab some of my own. I work in a very blue collar industry, so it would be almost impractical for me to wear them often, but every once in a while, lol, no harm in looking nice for a change.
Great looks, plus is awesome how you talk individually of each piece. These type of videos are great for inspiration, so more of these please. Maybe jeans from layback to dressy
all looks are good but faves are the green flecked sweater and cords and the killer white shirt cashmere sweater and flannels, timeless classy comfortable
The first, no doubt. Knew it instinctively, before even seeing the rest. And then it was confirmed. Clean-cut, fast, sophisticated, effortless. Looks like someone that never goes anywhere unless it's in his M3.
John I saw you wearing that wine/burgundy merino v-neck in an earlier video...from about 10 days ago, I think. It jumped RIGHT OFF the screen. You were wearing it with a lavender tie. I went and bought a deep burgundy merino v-neck straightaway based on that video. It looks phenomenal!! Oddly enough, I met up with an old GF the other day and rocked the Burgundy v-neck with olive chino's, tan brogue wingtips, white button up shirt, my black peacoat. Great outfit! ..I think you've got me on that Vulcan Mind Meld again...lol
That first outfit is incredible. I also love that maroon sweater! the color is so rich and perfect. I might buy a maroon blazer to match the first outfit. Any other suggestions for maroon blazers besides Oliver wicks? Thanks again! Would love to see more videos like this in the future!
Great video style! ANd love the looks- especially when you threw in the Red Wings!! Also, damn that first look was killer. Turtlenecks are so cool but i find them hard to pull off unless to a fancy dinner or something
I can always use more inspiration so keep those videos coming, Jon. Hey I really like the honey colored Chelsea boots. How versatile would you say that color is? I still don’t own Chelsea boots and am planning to get a pair this year.
I have the same Frank & Oak sweater! It really does hold up. Shame that brand has lost its way, it's gotten far too expensive for the quality they offer and tall sizes are practically non-existent now.
I actually transitioning from a suit and tie outfits to breaking up suits or chinos and sports costs but it is a bit harder to combine and create new outfits..would help to have some inspiration if you have the cloths... Maybe I should get myself a few flannel pants from OW
Hey Jon, do you think it’s worth buying a suit supply suit from their Blue Line which start at $399 or do you think I should go to Indochino? Which company do you think would be best for that budget ?
Great video but for the love of god get a longer overcoat! You do everything else way too well to have a coat that short. Although I will admit they it's tough finding something with sufficient length for people of... our length.
